Got my double DIN Pioneer all wired in with some help from a friend, but got a niggle where the speakers seem to always be on...making a slight hiss and sometimes a quiet pop. Sounds like we have wired something up slightly wrong! Ideas?

Recently I seem to be having problems when changing down into certain gears - namely 5th and 2nd. Changing up seems fine, but changing down into them they don't always go smoothly (as if something is blocking it). Lifting off the clutch and pressing again seems to solve it though. At first it was only 5th, but since I had it serviced (all fluids changed) 2nd seems to be a pain as well. Where do I start? It moves off in 2nd, and 3rd just fine so I think the clutch is ok....I'm far from an expert tho!

Ive been using Unleaded (since times are hard!) but I want to switch up to Super Unleaded as it's best for the car, and everyone reports better MPG with it. Firstly, is it worth it to reduce running costs (better MPG)? Secondly, how quickly should I notice a difference in performance or MPG? 2-3 tank fulls?

My fob only opens the drivers door, and then the passenger on the 2nd press. I tried what you suggest but without joy. Are you doing this when the car is locked or unlocked, and the lock/unlock button or both?

Well I was waving my arms around inside, and tapping the sensor, so whatever it is it's off completely.

Found out today: Turn the ignition on/off 3 times and then lock car as normal with the remote. The car will lock but without the alarm on. It'll even beep to let you know!

Solved! Turn the ignition on/off 3 times and then lock car as normal with the remote. It's sitting on the drive now with the windows down Pressing the remote button twice within 5 seconds didn't work, neither did locking with the key. The alarm went off within 20 seconds with the windows open.

Hey all, Now that the hot weather has hit I'd really like to be able to leave the windows down a touch while I'm at work (I have secure parking, outside my window). Ive heard that you have to turn the ignition on/off 3 times and then lock the car as normal. Can anyone confirm this?

Under the glove box? Found this when fitting the phone kit. Huh? Where? Try lifting up the bottom of the large storage compartment behind the passenger seat Ah that! I assume that was more to do with the satnav unit! I was hoping to find some service history/book tucked away somewhere!

Identical to mine (but with rays). Used a taxi/bus lane to catch up with me before pulling infront and flashing his indicators. Was this you?

and now it's playing up again! Must be a dodgy wire or sensor. Will unplug over the weekend. Thanks for the pic showing me what the box might look like though
