Hi Squee, I just bought a plate from dvla too. Did you send all your documents to Swansea dvla? I sent my v5c, tax disc photocopy and m.o.t. Cert off but iv only recieved my new v5c back! Did yours come separately too?

Yeah you could definitely do it yourself, just make sure your wheels are absolutely spotless beforehand and make sure you get an even coverage all the surfaces/spokes. Especially where the rim meets tyre as this will help it "cling" to the tyre. Nice light layers to start of with and then start building it up. I built up about 5-7 layers I think

I'd say buy a can first and see what you think, iv had my wheels and other bits plasti dipped for coming up to 2years with no problems at all. And it was driven daily until recently. Just make sure you do nice lights coats and build it up from there

Hi guys, I have a 2003 uk spec car with eibach springs fitted, these are great and they make the car much better looking but I'm getting a little tired of having to choose different routes because of the ride height. So I'm considering swapping these for some teins to raise the car a bit. I have done a bit of searching but I seem to find different opinions. So has anyone had both of these fitted before and which spring did you prefer performance and ride wise? I would rather stay with the eibach's if it's going to change the handling a lot, I believe the year of the car makes a lot of difference too. Thanks in advance! Ricky
