  1. £35 is STILL a bargain. And I am sure you would let people know what you needed so they COULD do it themselves... and they could realise how much it is to make
  2. Cheers Chris.... I recon my rears can go fine on my fronts... Just need bigger on the rears.... Any idea where to get a pair from? How much they cost? I think I may be better off getting my wheels refurbd first!
  3. I will have a closer look on Saturday
  4. Over priced and they only export the shite anyway.
  5. At the front the most it'll take is about 22/23 mms without catching on the wheel arch and that's on a standard suspension setup with Rays. On the rear you can go much further, hmm, I've experimented with mine and I'd say that 26-28mms would be O.K, I tried 33mms and that looked a bit silly (and illegal) TBH . Pete Might try sticking one of the rears on the front then... see how it looks. Im presuming spacers are pricey?
  6. Done that a few times... been in the beamer and flashed a Zed... then realised, they think I am MENTAL
  7. Only slightly annoying thing is ... You drive along with your doors locked (mirrors stay out, as your ignition is on) that is fine and dandy... When you come to a stop and take your key out, the doors are still locked. So the mirrors close. Then you unlock the door to get out and the mirrors open. Then you get out and lock the car and the mirrors close. This is a VERY minor issue... which is fixed by remembering to unlock the doors before you take your keys out of the ignition. Still VERY pleased with this mod... thanks again Cookbot!
  8. Yeah... I took one from a slightly higher stand point... can you spot Michael's car? P.S. I will be getting some better photo's of my GM after Wasso sorts it out next weekend
  9. Spacers..... Here is how it looks now. Rear spacers are at least 25mm, but the fronts are more like 15mm! What size spacer take my wheels to the edge of legal limits?
  10. Oh... and there ARE spacers on that! You should see it WITHOUT them on! but, as you say, not sure if they are wide enough. I will dig out the info on what size they are...
  11. Just giving you something to look forward to for next weekend Thought I better do it BEFORE you get your hands on her!!! Sorry bud...
  12. Do NOT let it go for £500! Classic laser.... 2L Talk to some experts.... people are ALWAYS looking for a find like this and will pay good cash for them. Follow Chesterfields lead, sounds tip top...
  13. I thought it was more like 50?
  14. TVR's.... Badly made.... Fall apart... Smell of glue.... Engines need rebuilding every 5-12k... Only on the road 3-6 months of the year, due to "niggles"... You will put your mechanics kids through university.... . . . . But dear GOD I want one, I have ALWAYS wanted one. The sound of them.... I have driven a Tuscan a few times (once or twice on a track) and also Grif ... they are SO much fun. The Zed was supposed to be a stepping stone to one for me. As Mr Clarkson rightfully said "Owning a TVR is like owning a tamed bear. All fun and cuddles then, one day, it will take your head off, for no reason"
  15. on my drivers side, the thin black plastic runner/kick board bit is loose. Think I need some new clips.... Anyone know the best place to get some......? (Other than :pmr35lee: or ! Which I will also do) .... I also get an annoying rattle on the drivers side when I brake or acc.... Sounds like a clip in the kick board body work. Would it be hard to get out?
  16. I have just bought some u'clips and new 10mm SS hex bolts to replace mine, maybe you should invest too Ooooohhhhh, I need some of those. Where is best to get hold of them?
  17. Shows I gave 'em hell last Sunday morning on the M54
  18. Mine squeak slightly, just as you stop... but nothing else with this setup...
