  1. How many versions of each car do you run/wreck per movie?
  2. Swapped for the yellow monster yet?
  3. errr... on second thought's.... I don't think I will bother ... Who will look after the degu's?
  4. Might pop over for one of the days. Colin, am I cool to just pop over as it's pretty close to me? Or Do I need to make it all official?
  5. I see what you are saying... Not sure that I was going from budget to best... I was on Ultra Ssesentta's before. Which are not exactly budget. but I do see what you are saying. I also agree that putting 4 different tyres on the corners will NOT make your car burst into flames Saying that, if there is a chance it might make it a higher chance of you loosing it, as one grips more than others and crashing THEN bursting into flames..... Why take the risk?
  6. Poor Suzie Perry... Now looks like a Grandma trying to hard.
  7. I think Dan (Ekona) has given up on these threads Long and shot of it is .... Yes, you can have four totally different tyres on you car. Thing is, it makes your car feel awful. So why would you? I recently altered my alloys and tyres. Took it back to standard. I took Ekona's advice and bought some M PS2's. Which were (for me) VERY expensive. The last two weeks of driving since they have been fitted have been some of the best driving I have ever FELT in my life. Positive, flowing feedback, planted car, fantastic grip. And that is just "normal" driving. Same car, same roads, same driver..... I KNOW this is JUST down to my tyres. (70% tyres, 30% alloys) I will never go back to mediocre or even "top" quality tyres. I will only ever have the best tyres for my car. Yes it costs a lot, but when it transforms your car and makes your experience into something so much better... Why would you do anything else? At the end of the day, it is down to you. Hope that helps
  8. What surprises me... is that the latch is dry... Shouldn't it if be covered in wax/gunk/grease... like everyone else boot latches are?
  9. Same as most other cars though.... And it WAS fun... wasn't it?
  10. DOH! just spotted yours is the girlie version.... NO idea what the boot space is like on the convertibles. Tiny I expect...
  11. buy a Mac... smaller laptops... more power You can fit LOADS in the boot! Even TWO golf bags. A few bods on here do 2-3 weeks camping in them. The boot is massive, just have to know how to pack it
  12. That's probably a fair move. Although do you not get the dreaded boot shutting on your head syndrome in the winter? Nope... with the weight removed, I find it HARDER to shut my boot. But then I had my struts re-gased a few weeks back.
  13. Any chance of a set in BLACK? Tried the white... but it doesn't suite the stealth/stock look I am trying to go for
  14. Maybe something like this? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0644886895 Not sure how you could attach it though. And even if it would work as the boot is a funny shape for a strap.
  15. Im in training for when my car is nice and clean... You know, not touching the paintwork with my hands... or putting metal objects on it
  16. Started using the latch on the boot to do it, but you can't really get the power you need for it to shut all the way. Want to try to find something for sort this as once I start detailing her, I don't really want to be touching the bodywork I was thinking about putting some kind of strap that could hang down. Like in some other cars I have had. Anyone done anything like this?
  17. Mine is not exactly a daily driver... but when I do use mine for shopping or anything, I am always trying to grab the non existent handle inside the boot. On my previous cars, there has been a handle on the inside of the boot, to help close the boot. Can anyone tell me if the facelift models have them? I know it's only a little niggle, but it's super annoying
