  1. You are slacking dave, forgetting the zed and mr spud. For that you deserve to try out option 4. I dont think you will manage it though, my moneys on mary

  7. Another HFC fan here too - my car sounds fantastic and I had plenty of compliments on the exhaust note at Oulton Sorry to crash this thread but I've a quick Q re the UpRev - do you actually see any MPG gains? I've read conflicting reports and whilst a better MPG isn't something I'm overly concerned with any improvement will help to justify the cost of the UpRev to my other-half teehee. Thanks, S. Mark at abbey said you could get mpg improvements, and i guess they could tweek the ecu to gain more. Imo though id still go for the optimal torque tweeks, no point buying a zed and then trying to make it fuel efficient
  8. Good luck, be careful though. I remember when i went for my first test drive in a zed. The salesman said "you do know as soon as i turn this key you will fall in love" that was 2 and a half years ago. He was absolutely right.
  9. No point getting an ipad 1. If i was looking to get one id fork out for the ipad 3 unless i got an extremly good offer on an ipad 2. The screen resolution and speed of the latest generation is leagues ahead of the older models.
  10. Fantastic picture, love it. Good luck with the zed hunt
  11. Am I the only one who saw that and thought "She's using a sponge! " Shes not using the two bucket approach either....tut tut

  17. May have to pop over and check it out sometime. Is it easy to fit and setup?
  18. Nice one, be interested to hear about the results. Id be keen to do this mod as you are right rear visibility is non existent, especially in the roadster. I end up stopping short thinking its close but finding i still have miles of space. Wheres does the camera go?
  19. Looks lovely and would eat up the miles, and the petrol
  20. Bet it sounds lovely. I loved my berks. Will you be posting a vid
  21. they look very nice indeed, nice finish
  22. Welcome and good luck with the zed hunt. Good choice looking for a roadster and there should be plenty of good examples for your budget. My advice is its a buyers market and keep looking til you find a mint example. There are plenty of threads about what to look out for when buying a zed but from my experience check the roof carefully. Look along the seam at the top corners above the windows for pulling or stretching as its quite common. Likewise check the inside in the corners for signs of daylight. Some hoods develop small tear marks at the base of the hood near where your shoulders are, check that. Check the roof mechanism thouroughly to ensure it goes up and down with no issues as repairs replacements can be stpidly expensive. More often an issue in the cold. Sounds silly but one thing i would do is poor water over the roof especially near the windows and windscreen edge. I've known quite a few zeds which leaked around the windows and from personal experience its not fun and can be tricky to fix. But do your research and pick the right car and you will absolutely love it. A zed with the roof down and that lovely exhaust is a great place to be. Good luck Ps your are not too far away from surrey, we have a very active group down this way, you should come along to the meets and check out some of the roadsters. Happy to help out with any questions just ask.
