    Bought a set of the Kode red ones last week for my sons car. The quality looks fine for the price but have no idea how they will stand up to the elements.

    Everybody each to their own. A decent 5 litre tin of lacquer retails at around £320 alone. Materials are expensive these days. However a bodyshop could look like a total 5hithole, but could have a booth and turn out exceptional work. Speaking from experience, a paint finish is only as good as the guy doing the job. Preperation is key, but is the painters responsibility to ensure the preparation has been carried out correctly. Saying all the above, even the best of painters can have a off day, thus ending up with a sub standard result.

    Your poor car. You must be gutted. Still as long as your ok. Have you looked on Ebay as they occasionally sell the odd ones, also search 350z breakers Ebay and Google. I hope it all comes good for you.

    Can't you leave the switches in situe and just swop the feeds around.

    I would say it is the switch personally. Can you swop the two around to see if it is the switch, so the recline switch is using the sliding seat feed.

    Hi, having finance rules out the private route , probably best looking on Auto trader or Pistonheads. Give Ebay a whirl too.
