  1. I'm going to give up on finding the perfect spec. The one I'm going to see is only missing 2 things I'd like. Rear view camera and sapphire blue paint. Every other option is there.
  2. I think I'm pretty set on a Porsche, always wanted one and the 981 s is the best I can currently afford. I'm very picky on cars. The new Supra did peak my interest, possibly only car that I might consider for the money. There were others I'd like but not sure if they're a great buy or other factors like servicing costs/tax/ insurance got in the way. Anyways I need to scratch that Porsche itch whilst I can.
  3. R8 doesn't tickle my bits unfortunately. Had a look at them. V10 maybe but not in my budget
  4. 45k plus on auto trader. Looked at them already.
  5. Probably is. But I'm not going for a turbo s. I'm going for a Cayman s.
  6. Unfortunately the condition on the money is to use it to buy a car. Nothing else. Mods would have to come from my own money. If I spend less than 40k, I don't get to keep the difference.
  7. Well I've found a great black s with low miles which I'll go look at hopefully this Saturday but they've got a much higher mileage sapphire blue one too. Although I won't get that one, if I fall in love with the blue, I might hold out until I find the perfect one.
  8. Unfortunately I can't go that high. I've got 40k plus my car and that needs to include insurance and tax. I can chuck in a little more but that's it. Can't stretch above £42k all in.
  9. MPG is important to a degree. I'd rather the 3.4, more fun.
  10. Nice Camaro but what's it like round going round corners and I bet the mpg is horrendous.
  11. Needs to be ULEZ compliant. If the expansion happens, the new edge of it will be a 3mins drive from my house. I live just outside the London area so would have to pay £12.50 each day to go into it.
  12. Didn't know i definitely wanted a Porsche. I was thinking about a 370z before and then a 911, but realised it was too expensive. Looked at some of the other suggestions like R8, Lotus and Vantage. But so far the Cayman wins, unless someone can recommend something else.
  13. Oh and I do know a good indy, used to on here with his Veilside 350z. I'm sure I'll contact him if I get the car.
  14. Love the colour but bit too high mileage. Found a black one with 22k miles on the clock. But really want one in that blue.
  15. And I wouldn't be able to afford the servicing costs 🤣
  16. Not a fan of BMWs. Good luck with the sale though.
  17. Cayman 981s it is I think. Now to find one with the 3.4 engine, pdk, sports exhaust, sports chrono package and in sapphire blue.
  18. I can't afford that! I'm very lucky I've got £40k coming to me. 🤣
  19. Need it to be ULEZ compliant. My current car, Renault Clio 1.2 8v X reg is on its way out. Will be fun rocking up and asking for a test drive and trying to part exchange it
  20. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202208198951392?atmobcid=soc3 😍 What are running costs like on a Porsche? Always been a dream to get one.
  21. Yeah running costs will be a factor. Hence why 370z seems like a safer choice.
