  1. I have started to notice lately that more and more girls have start putting eye lashes around there head lights , what's the crack with that ? They seriously don't think it looks good do they ? Was quite amused when I first seen it. These are the things am talking about http://carlashes.com/
  2. Dose look very cool but is potentially just as weak as the one above, it could be very easily over come by down loading the app and running it through a few special programmes to crack your code/username and matching it to the frequency of your transponder in the car . Would take a while to work out but could be done . I think after reading morein to these systems I will retract my statement and won't be buying one until they can be proven to be just as Secure as factory =( they look so cool tho
  3. I didnt realise you had to leave the key in and leave the remote transponder in also ( bad idea ) I just spotted it and thought it was cool didnt have time to read up on it (drink was calling my name haha) I also wouldn't use the key pad (saying as the lad in the video tells the world what the factory rest code is ) You could alway give it to the girlfriend and walk back and check. Do you think it would be a better system if the factory system was removed ?
  4. was having a bit nose about and stumbled on this http://www.auto-innovatio.com/magento/s ... st800.html videos of the product in action - http://www.auto-innovatio.com/magento/i ... video.html was just wonsdering if anyone has any experiences with this as it looks a good bit of kit thinking of getting one actually , when i get my car back that is haha opinions please
  5. hello mate how you getting on with yours ? nissan have come back and said the whole problem was caused by my coil packs breaking down causeing a direct short which in turn nacked my ecu etc .
  6. Finally after a month of the monkeys at Nissan playing with my car they say they have found and rectified the fault They said it was the coils on the car had broke down and caused a direct short which resulted in all the other faults . So hopefully get the car back and pay up the horrendous bill . Having mixed emotions at the min . Anyway going to ask for a break down of cost and al post it on here so you'd can have a laugh
  7. dam i wish i had some money right now
  8. Amazing pics mate I like 3,5,21 Try get more pics with different graffiti - gives it the street look if you get what I mean
  9. How many cables do you get for that? Thanks for the info al let you no when I need them as my cars still in Nissan
  10. it not actually true but we dont use the full capacity of the brain mythbusters tested the theory . +1 limitless
  11. Do you supply these ? If so how much are they and do you have a colour option ?
  12. I think it would look if they just cut a hole in the bonnet ( professionally ) and let it stick out instead of that bonnet
  13. If you take the cover off your battery cubical you will see the negative is just bolted to the engine body on a bar of terminals form that there are loads of wires linked to most parts in your engine bay ie engine casing etc
  14. Unfortuntley I do not find out till tomorro weather it's fixed or not . I sent the hole car to nissan and they sent the ecu to a independent tester . The results from this independent tester came back today saying that the supply voltage from the ecu start relay connection was faulty so they reconditioned it for £210 . Tomorrow Nissan will receive it back and put it back into the car and see if that's the only fault the car has , so not out the water yet but hopefully it's that and it's just pluged back in and it works if not then it's back to fault finding I hope to god it works as am gutted about missing all the nice weather with it
  15. Just got my results from ecu tester it is the ecu at fault (the feed for the start relay) so will get it back tomorro and will inform Nissan of there findings so they can test the relay and everything associated with that part of the system . The cost of an ecu to be reconditioned is £210 Hope this helps Will update again tomorro

  17. That is exactly what's happening to mine mate . It points towards a loose earth or the bendix in the starting motor being broke as the car will start for a limited time if you bump it , or the car will crank if you put a wire from your battery to the casing of the engine but Nissan seam to think it's the ecu . I am getting my results today so will let you no what the crack is mate
  18. i get result of ecu test tomorro mate so will post the out come for you
  19. Not yet it is still in Nissan but should get a result this week , they have sent my ecu away to be tested so will update when I hear from them this week
  20. Is your's got the same as this ? viewtopic.php?f=9&t=47057 I will be getting the results from Nissan this week
  21. mine is in for this reason if this helps viewtopic.php?f=9&t=47057 they have tested nearly the hole car and think its the ecu so when i get a result from the ecu testers al up date my thread . it could be a few reasons tho 1-key fob 2- battery (zeds are very picky about current ) 3- loose neutral or earth wire 4 - ecu and thats just to start with , the zed has a interlocking safety feature so it could be a range of thing that are linked with that ie clutch pedel switch or relays etc ( main relays and fuses are in next to battery cublical ) hopefully you get your sorted with less hassel than me good luck
