What about the spoiler that looks like a diff type to the vs3 ? Alot of people praise the wrap but had no dealings with it my self. plus the up side is that if you ever want to go back to normal u just rip it off instead of getting it painted again . I like the idea of two tone top and bottom aslong as it's not boarderd with a stupid patter .

he can supply stuff way cheaper than Nissan , there's also other trader like R35LEE etc just look through the trading area at the for sale section of through each trader to see what they have and who offers what . If you can't see what your after post in the wanted section and people will help u out. There is also a servicing section in the forum index have a look there for ideas of what you need to do at each service interval

yep! full kit. With the vs3 kit the arches are an extra 3inches or so wider than the standard arches , I was told that to get the wheels to fit u had to remould the original arches to the vs3 arches or cut the standard arches out completely , as to fill the vs3 arches u need to pass the standard arches I haven't cut mine yet as am scared that al get sick of the kit and won't be able to go back to standard .

are you putting the vs3 wide arches on ??

I am Also a maintenance engineer , I work on a full range of electrical systems -domestic electrics -office electrics -comm's rooms electrics - controls electrics ( first started building control pannels ) ( inverters etc) - BMS systems - fire systems (honeywell sf90 mainly) -Low voltage and currently on a course for high voltage switching , maintenance and safe isolation ( which scares me abit ) . I used to work for a company called haden but now been taken over buy interserve I only have 7 years experience as I was lucky enough to be taken on straight away at the age of 16 and now am 23 . +1 but domestic is just a scaled down version but with the same principal's. Domestic stuff isn't big and bulky so don't require system's such as soft start or inverters to control the motors . Domestic appliances run direct drive motors and most just use electronic circuit boards ie relays etc to control them

Why reduced the rating of a fuse ? The manufacture rated that fuse at the level for a number of reason ie start up current , variation in loads etc so why change it ?

It will be ok mate just a dodgy connection , even if it a moulded plug these things are mass produced so every so often one of these can be missed , if it come with a 13amp fuse replace it with a 13amp fuse as the company would of factored in start up current,

If it's under warranty I wouldn't even bother playing with it bud let them take it way and investigate it , it's very unusual for the neutral wire to become hot or melt for anyother reason than wire has not been tightened properly in the plug and the heat from the plug has melted the socket or it had a bad contact between plug and socket just replace socket if damaged and if the washer is not vital let them replace it but if it is remove the plug refit a new plug and make sure all connections are tight

If you take it to a garage to be done I payed £295 (including vat) for the labour for them to replaced covers and put a cosworth plenum & spacer on , it took 4 & a half hours for them to do it but they went used to working on the zed . If your up for trying it your self it would save you the labour and Its not really hard just fiddly to do, the only reason I didn't try was I didn't have a sheltered area I could do it and the weather was crap. Not big deal tho can still drive it just keep an eye on oil levels Cam covers from Nissan cost £270 per side and gaskets are £15 per side so it's £570 not including vat This is the price I received from ( benfield motors - Nissan) Zmanalex wiped the floor with that price
