  1. I has a 2.0 SE manual and the mpg for the performance was in a word $hite, anyway you had a Zed before did you see a big improvement when you went to the Coupe?
  2. Just about to the next petrol station I get around 22mpg round town so depends what super is up there I would guess between 100-150 miles on £30.... I get 150miles to £50 Yeah around town thats about right, I would get 110 miles roughly to £30 but thats at £131.9 a ltr.... yours might be dearer I said 100-150miles to account for some twinkle toes drivers
  3. The module works off the 12volt signal to the door lock solenoid instead of using a stick on microswitch on the internal door handle mechanism. To get to the wires for the solenoid you have to take off the inner metal panel. I think there is no way to do this without taking out the glass. If there is then let me know. I will do a version with the switch if there is demand for it. Your version sounds better and I am sure the extra effort to take the window out is worth it I won't be changing mine it has been on for 2 years now and even survived a side swipe that meant a new door skin and reconnecting everything
  4. Lots of info here - http://www.350z-tech.com/wiki/index.php?title=Category:Engine
  5. I use rainx but the problem is the smear when the wipers are used I have honestly never ever cleaned my wipers and never had a smear.... I recon there is a slight imperfection on the wiper, it would wind me up too and I would just buy a new wiper... they are new wipers - it was happening on the originals - so replaced them and still happening !! so if this doesn't work.........I'll have no other choice but to scrap the car Oh well, never liked the colour anyway Maybe the wiper arm is bent or needs adjusting, if it is missing a bit of the windscreen no amount of cleaning is gonna make it good...
  6. Ah yes bit more to it than the version I have although I have taken the window glass and motor out too still not a big job
  7. You dont go near the door glass Remove a few bolts, remove window switches, remove door card and the cable that operates the central locking. That guide is great, I used an older one but that one is much better... Much more rewarding when you DIY
  8. If its a Hyundai Coupe 2.0 then thats what I had before my Zed and I think the fuel consumption is pretty much identical
  9. Dirty Carla (or Ricey) And poor Squee not getting a wave You seem nice so I will give you one

  13. Here you go fella No screw just a plastic popper I pulled off the platic trim, be careful as it is a very thin flimsy bit, but you can see from the pic the white bits where it is held down so where to apply the pressure : wink: And then lift up the rubber door seal and your there

  15. Guys it really is easy to fit.... If I can do it anyone can. I did have a problem with the first one and Papa had to help me but considering I had to MAKE that one I think thats acceptable. Door card off and splice a couple of wires it really is that simple.... I don't like depriving Chris & Bob of some donuts but they should both be on January diets anyway Saying that a trip to the Zed Shed makes it worthwhile
  16. After a clean I always do my windscreen with quick detailer spray and i hardly have to use the wipers the rain just beads and flies off
  17. oem just bought some white vinegar - so we will see apply white vinegar with ????, wipe off with "un-used" chippy paper - got that Apply the vinegar with the chips

  19. I think there is possibly a reason why nobody has seen these before.... If bits stuck on the front lights are called eyebrows are bits stuck on the rear lights called klingons?
  20. If I can borrow a tent from my nephew that fits in the Zed anyone fancing coming camping with me
  21. You take BBk? That's nice! I said disabled not 'special'
  22. Probably find you won't get a decent offer unless it is a full year Try some new quotes and factor in ending the other and paying the penalty might work out cheaper....
