im hoping it would be the date the exhaust was made cos it would mean its only 3years old opposed to 8 can anyone else confirm?

im looking for a new oem exhaust and a seller has advised its stamped 2008 but came off a 2003 - does anyone know if an exhaust be stamped like this?

after doing some reading on here im tempted by the toyosports (ebay) exhaust but as discussed with hassan i think fitting could become an unwanted headache. Now considering anywhere in the uk if the sellers happy to deliver

i left it with a local garage yday for a few hours, mechanic called in the afternoon to say its badly rotted at the flange (whatever that is ), he didnt want to weld it incase it became unfixable so recommended a new back box (just for reference he didnt charge me anything either as he didnt fix it - obviously not trying to rip me off) what do you reckon?
