I have kind of done it. I have wired the sat nav into the aux input on my Alpine headunit. To hear the sat nav voice i have to select aux input but i dont find it an issue as i dont use the aux input. To fit a headunit your looking at the just over £60 for the fascia and looms. Then i'd fit it myself, it really isnt that hard. All those wires erghhhhhhhhhhhh! makes me shiver...

Thought the fog lamp on/off is behind the turn switch for the lights? thats where mine is.

The thing is, that the guy in the overalls HAS to make a living from his/her trade, and will find a way of doing a job correctly, where as the Pro in a fancy shop really dont care too much as he/she gets paid at the end of the month regardless of how well they have performed. I would be more inspired by the overalled chap than the smart shop front.

I would be the same, very easily done mate. No fear tho, I slipped down a kerb while reversing and was in a catch 22 situation, go forward and chew the rear alloy or go backward and chew the rear alloy, went forward, front wheels turned slightly to the middle of the road, managed to chew up 1/2 the rear alloy, yeah i was mad, but eh, i am still alive to tell the tale. Hope you get it sorted ok.

Good job you got a replacement car. No? How long is your zed on holiday for and does it really matter what your given as a replacement cos nothing will be the same as the zed, and what ever you get still enables you get on with your life!

Sorry that was a bit unfair mate. I drove one about 2 yrs ago from a nissan dealer and was a total dog, really went off them at that time and bought a "family car". Anyway got bored of that and was looking at the Mazada mx and rx. Didnt like the Rx one bit after the test drive & my good lady said about the 350z. I work all over the UK and on my travels i would call into dealers in the area and have a gander. I was falling for them by this time, around 2 months of looking and wishing.... A further 3 months of scanning the web, i found one, until i drove it, been ragged, soft top didnt work. Anyway continued my search and found another in Reading, booked a test drive, had a bit of a problem doing a deal with the Nissan garage, but got there in the end, 3 weeks later picked up the new car and never looked back. Its my second wife Just an amazing car with a great forum full of great members. Roll on my 370z roadster, in a few years time tho!
