  2. I agree that drifting with other cars about on a public road isn't a sensible thing to do. But the main reason for me posting is that being new here I was really pleased to see that three of the moderators have said that any members caught doing this at a meet will be told to leave. It's good to know the type of club I've joined and after reading this, and attending a West Midlands meet on Sunday, I'm going to be checking I can make the Wales meet and get signed up to it as soon as possible!
  3. Pretty sure it's a TVR, but not sure what type.
  4. I found the following thread really useful when working out how to post photos: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=25963
  5. I like the red nissan in the third pic.
  6. It's Chadwicks. I think he collected it within the last couple of weeks.
  7. Good to see a fellow Jalopnik reader and that looks like a great idea. I'm not sure if this has been posted on this forum before but if you're after really nice garages then this is worth a look: http://www.luxury4play.com/automotive/3 ... -pics.html
  8. Congratulations! I've had mine for two weeks now and it just gets better and better.
  9. If the black one has leather seats but isn't a GT I think it's either an import as well or the seats have been done by the previous owner. The only way to get leather seats from the factory for a UK car is to have the GT pack. If the black one is an import I'd say it's slightly overpriced but if it's a UK car with the GT pack then the price sounds ok.
  10. I did laugh when I saw one driving around the Aston site earlier in the week though. Plus, the Toyota version is probably better looking too!
  11. Thanks Stu. Did yours not work any of the time or just when cold? I had the same problem again this morning but by the time I got to work I could open the door.
  12. I've only had my car for a week but I'm having problems with the passengers door. My car has been iced up for three of the four mornings this week and on each occasion the passenger door wouldn't open. Initially I thought it could be due to the window not dropping but then I noticed that it just won't unlock - I've tried pressing the key twice, using the central locking button switch on the driver door and attempting to press the locking switch on the inside of the passenger door, but none have worked. The switch on the inside of the door doesn't move at all. Since I lift share to work I've only used the car on one of the days when the door wouldn't open (my passenger had to clamber across from the drivers side with me wincing in case he scratches anything as he climbs across!), on that day by the time I reached work (a 10 mile drive) I was able to unlock the door. I'm guessing the cold is doing something to the lock but I'm not sure what, the lock appears to work fine when it's not freezing outside but since I've not had the car for long I can't be sure. Has anyone else had this problem and does anybody know what's wrong or how to fix it? I've searched for other threads on this and although some people seem to have had a similar problem they don't appear to be quite the same thing. Thanks
  13. Thanks for all the welcome messages. Unfortunately the garage it's parked in in one of the pictures isn't mine - that was at the dealership where I collected the car. Normally I would have had a look round the Quattroporte but I was so excited about getting my car that I completely ignored it! I'm guessing it was a garage queen before I got. I bought it from a dealership but it only had one previous owner and it looks like it's been quite carefully looked after during that time (I'm hoping it has been!). It's dirty already since I did a few miles this weekend, now I need to wait to the weekend to get out there and clean it.
  14. Hi, I've been lurking on this forum for a while and on Friday I finally collected my own zed. It's a UK car, GT pack, 53 plate, 27k miles in Gunmetal. My first impressions of it after driving around a bit this weekend are all good; I even got a wave from a fellow 350 driver on my way back from collecting the car, something that never used to happen in my Focus! Hopefully the photos below will work. Ash
  15. I've been looking at getting a 350 for a while and your car looks good - PM sent.
