    Maintain speed whilst left foot braking over the cobbles ... if the knock stops then it's the compression rod ball joint ... just change the complete banana bar for a solution

    The fronts were OK but the ones on the rear wheels didn't fit properly due to the shape of the tyre - the lugs that went behind the wheel rim were visible - I'd have been happy to leave them on if they fitted without the gap
