so on a side note how bad is it for the engine if you are doing a short journey with a few spirited parts when teh engine isnt fully warmed up? Just thinking should i think twice when i have to pull out on to the main road on my drive into work, and maybe find larger gaps rather then giving it some welly and having some fun... Let me know,

okie dokie, i will drive around abit tonight and see if i can monitor it. When acclerating hard, once warm should it go up or down or stay the same?

HI All, Just opening this up again, i never really keep an eye on the oil pressure, i sort of figured that with there being enough oil in teh car it shoudl be fine. But this morning i started the car, and noticed just after starting the oil pressure seemed quite high (around 60) then i drove to work (about 10 mins drive) and keep an eye on it when i was pulling away quite heavly the oil went up to (70-90) which concerned me a little as it seemed quite close to the final line mark... when i got to work it went back down to around 60-65 Should i be worried? i recently topped up the car gave it about another 1/4 of a litre a few days ago have only driven it to work once or twice since then. it doesnt look overful on the dipstick but im a little concerned it might be giving me bad readings... (When it comes to oil i am always really nervous!) Let me know Thanks

not really any point in upgrading to 3.1.3 is there, the extra features list was so small its hardly worth it, might as well wait until v4.0

mmm sounds like an air thing, im no pro but i remember on some other cars i have driven if the engine doesnt get enough air it can loose power then get it again etc... so sort of feels like the car is skipping a little but it isnt...

my miss mini cooper s had a lot heaver steering, fromn when i drove it, but so did everything feel alot heavier, clutch acclerator etc.. Think it might depend on car, as my bro said in his 350z his gearbox and clucth were very heavy, but mine feel perfect cant complain... Gearbox is sometimes gritty between first and second but this is normal when cold..

HI all, On ebay all the different ezrun brushless motors seems to be a similar price but which t rating should i go for.... 9T or 13T or 5T?? Tried looking it up but it doesnt make sense when they are all teh same price.. as always thanks in advance!

This is my main problem with getting into the rc world, i have just found people generally not helpful at all (apart from this forum). Ive asked people who are selling bits on ebay, and other forums, and people just seem very unwilling to share thier knowlegde almost like its trade secrets they think i might use against them! But ive said that before...

looks awesome, i have stripped mine down given it a clean, sorted out some dodgy looking angled wheels, and am ready for teh near bearings, drive shaft coming via ebay soon, and hopefully a brushless motor i am watching! as well as some new batteries! Can wait! Soo satisfying taking it apart and putting it back together again!

HI all, Just a quick one i posted this in another much older thread so figured it was prob best to post here. Does anyone know how much oil there is from min to max mark on dipstick? Currently when cold my motor has very dark oil on the dipstick and is about 0.5cm above min line, after taking it for a 10 min drive then letting it cool for around 20 mins it has very thin oil about another cm higher so about 1.5cm above min mark. I topped it up with about 1/4 of a litre and was wondering if i should be using more. Let me know, Many thanks in advance! Neo

Hi all, Just been reading this, i have been monitoring my oil, and it seems to stay just about half a centermeter above the min line when cold and when warm (about 20 mins after a 10 min drive) it is about another 1cm higher but much thinner oil. What im wondering is how much oil is there from min line to max, ie shall i put in a whole litre or only half or only a quater? Let me know! Thanks Neo

Always an akward situation cats are, as lots of people love them, lots hate them and if you are somewhere in the middle it can be akward with people telling you to bb them etc.. then you hear sad storries of people with one eyed cats etc... One good solution is to put those fence spikes round your back garden fence as thats often where they come in. Also use ground pepper... and if all that fails get a rescue grey hound, a friend for life who will never let a cat walk on your turf again!!

They retro fitted the 3d you can watch half teh film with teh glasses off and not notice a difference!! Potentially a little harsh but i cant help but find myself semi agreeing..

i thought if you got 6 points in 1st year of driving you lost your license had to retake etc... but then you still are left with 3 points just as a bigger punishment and hence you can only get 3 points in that year of driving before you are banned again...

agree on the 3d aspect, i would say you shoudl see in 3d first... on to buy or not to buy, if you are the kind of person who watches the same films and has a film collection then yes. if you watch a film once and never again for a year or so then no...

you know whats funny, i looked at the pics and thought mmm... i kind of recognise the guy in teh middle of teh group shots and then a girl in the office went crazy saying "its Steve Jones! Dont you know! He sleeps with all the super stars on t4!" lol so if he is your brother, a) he sounds very lucky and he has another person ready and waiting to join the list of notches on the bed post!
