  1. I do a lot of photography and the advantage of digital is that pictures are instant on the PC so you can see what you should and should'nt be doing I don't go on forums but I use this site all the time for advise and when buying gear, at the moment I'm bidding on a very nice 70mm-400mm Nikon lens for my DX40x it's not the camera thats take a good picture it's the quality of the lens! http://www.kenrockwell.com/index.htm
  2. unfortunatly the only thing the police will do is give a crime number over the phone I would be very surprised if they turn up at the door

  5. No offense, but more fool you. Full sets in immaculate condition regularly come up for sale on this very forum for £600 ish. Insurance company paid for they insisted I only bought from Nissan so who am I to complain
  6. I know you guys are saying these could be over priced but give Nissan a call and ask how much one rim is with no tyre I bet you won't get change from £4000 for a set I recently bought a brand new Rays costing £1030+ vat with no tyre (Ouch)
  7. I'm interested in this I have a 56 plate Roadster are all the leads in the back for the unit to plug and play

    Number Plates

break the old plates off they should break at the scew holes remove all the plate leaving just the screws then get some grips onto the screw heads and unscrew.
  9. just by looking at the picture I can tell the washing machine is not back to the wall probably because the waste pipe is there. You may be able to just run a knife around the silicon sealant to slide the worktop out but it could take some wall tiles with it, a carpenter will charge you to cut the new worktop to size and the hole for the sink. looking at the picture again your not going to be able to slide the old worktop out it will have to be cut into sections and to get the new worktop in your going to have to remove the tiles on the end wall or have a large fillet of sealent.
  10. DoogyRev are you a kitchen fitter?
  11. I know of a very good company in Chigwell, Essex if that's any help, they have done some work on my car and it's fautless

  14. I was hoping they found a cure for your problem my brother was telling me when he was searching for the answer on the web it seems it's quite a common problem with the TT he's now looking to P/ex it for an Audi A7
  15. TVR's nothing but a kit car, my mate had a Tuscan and even he admitted it was the worse car he had ever owned and sold it on.
  16. I was selling something for £2000 last week had the same email but the buyer was on an oil rig so could not view it I just replied 'good try scammer' did not hear from him again.
  17. yep, me too my wife said another log book has arrived for her BMW I thought that somebody must of applied for it and it's gone to our address until I read the note with it saying all logbooks will be replaced with RED one's instead.
  18. I received my new RED logbook today for my Z'ed also for the wifes BMW anybody got there's yet?
  19. +1 I sure hope it's not a wheel bearing when wheel bearings start to go normally there's a dronning you will hear not a shake I'm pretty sure it's not a bearing
  20. Thinking about it, that could be an issue - problems started pretty soon after the brakes were changed, so that'll be worth checking although there aren't any braking issues that you can sense. But might be that - booked the car in for a week today & will relay this as a potential issue. Thank you! The discs may be true in running so no shaking will be felt under braking but all discs are balanced from the makers.
  21. reading your first thread again I see you have had new discs and brakes fitted so did you have the problem before you had these fitted as you could possibly have a disc not balanced I know there from Audi but they could be out.
  22. I should not think much happened to it to be a CatD what with the cost of spares for one of these.
  23. My brother has the exact same car with the exact same problem it's an 08 V6 TT he has just had a new set of very expensive tyres put on it and the steering has a very slight niggly shake at 80ish he's had the wheels balanced 5 times at different garages they have all found the balancing out so I have suggested to him that the problem must either be he's gone down a pot hole and the alloy can be slightly out of shape or he has a duff tyre the only way of finding your problem is as mentioned above try and get two wheels off another car and try them to see if you still have the shake.
