  1. do you have a picture of what the final product looks like?
  2. I bought something similar as well off ebay..a bee sting aluminium about 9cm long. Looks the part but poor signal. I think i might give the S2000 stubby aerial a go.
  3. Thank you for all your suggestions D block what's the reception like with yours. Have tried short 9cm bee sting ones..look good but the signal's poor
  4. Thanks martin. The bee sting aluminium aerial is short and stubby but the FM reception is poor..keep losing signals for national radio stations..works alright for local stations. Thanks for the info bud..will put this on and see how i get on.
  5. Hi everyone..my Nissan OEM aerial is missing. Can anyone tell me what the radio signal or reception is like with the S2000 stubby aerial. Bought a cheap beesting aluminium aftermarket one off ebay..doesn't quite do the job. The reception is sporadic.
  6. Wow..what a transformation. They look like complete different cars. It's like the UK version of Fast and Furious.
  7. Spotted 3 350Z in the last 24 hours when i was driving around. Saw a silver one bearing ST53 yesterday lunchtime at the traffic lights in mansfield near the college on A60. There was a red one behind me on my way to Hucknall..again 53reg. This afternoon i saw a blue convertible with ZZZ on the plate. Does any of these belongs to anyone here? There is actually a lot more Zed in the nottinghamshire area than i was led to believe. The main question is where do you guys go to have your Zed serviced and repaired?
  8. It's £80 incl VAT..typo. Found out this morning that my passenger window is stuck. Will be taking the car round to a garage tomorrow..will have a go at the windows motor regulator reset and see if that works.
  9. Hopefully some members who live around your area will be able to offer you some advice. Have a look under "Servicing" , there's is a list of good and bad garages in different areas. I live in nottinghamshire and a lot of us here struggle looking for a Zed expert. Have just found a place in Nottingham..will post an update to let everyone know if they are any good. Try to stay clear off Nissan dealer if u can, they charge about £80 in labour per hour ex VAT. PM R35LEE or ZMANALEX if you need the OEM parts..far cheaper than Nissan stealers. They are top blokes
  10. You don't call them (st)ealer for a reason. Where are you EdZed? Someone here might be able to tell you where the cheaper alternative is.
  11. Hi martin..hope you get it sorted mate. Had sort of similar experience with Nissan Mansfield. A lot of this Nissan dealer/franchise seems to lack knowledge in Zed. I bet they know a Micra or Navara quite well. A dealer should be well versed in all models across the range. It's the last place i will be going to from now onwards unless i'm really desperate.
  12. I am afraid it's something you have to decide for yourself. My opinion is purely on the exhaust system because i had similar problem with mine and some of the used one on sale on ebay seems to be slightly corroded externally.
  13. That's a very thorough report. Won't worry too much about the corroded exhaust system as long as they are replacing it. I think that seems to be a very common problem with lots of Zed. A lot of people here end up replacing it with an aftermarket one.
  14. How much did it set you back to get an AA report just out of interest?
  15. thanks bud..i am hoping someone would be able to shed some light on what that error code means and what the fault is.
  16. Thanks matey.. any idea what it does the A/F sensor heater?
  17. Hi everyone..found out what the code says on the ECU reader. It's P1051..does that mean anything to anyone? Cheers
  18. Do u mean the time on the Bose head unit? The guide for that is in the owner's manual. You can download a copy in the Guides section here.
