I had a 2007 convertible 325i before..well built and quick enough..not as quick as the Zed though. It has V6 and better mpg though. Not sure if i liked the run flat tyres on the new beamers though. Makes the ride quite hard and firm.

I kerbed one corner of my N1 front bumper/splitter while coming down the NCP car park. The entrance and exit are very tight. Lesson learnt: don't use multistorey car park if you have a kitted Zed

Yes..the general consensus here is the BOSE headunit(UK or JDM) is rubbish..u are better off with an aftermarket head unit anyway. I can't justify the amount of money i have spent on restoring my Zed..hence i am going to attempt the iPOD tape deck hack mod

I have always liked the interior of the Merc..very posh and well built. Like the new shaped E class coupe better though -
