Yes..it cuts down on the noice or sound in the cabin. Have to say, i haven't noticed much of a change TBH. PM Pbannistuk if u are interested in a home made one..it's far cheaper and it does the job. U could get the OEM ones from Holdcroft or ebay for around £90.Hope this helps.

I attempted the DIY iPod tape deck hack mod last week using the some of the guides on here. Unfortunately things went a bit pete thong. Bought a cable off the ebay that would allow me to play and charge the iPod at the same time. In fairness the mod did work for a few minutes until i put the head unit back together. Not exactly sure what i have done wrong but next thing i know..no power to the head unit and the car. My light clusters in the dashboard and speedometer and my folding mirror stopped working Took the car round to Lee's Falcon Performance garage in Middlesbrough and as usual the service and work done is spot on. Turn out that it has 'fried' the IPM intelligent power module, and burnt out 9 fuses. This garage is truly a 350Z specialist..i bet there isn't anything that they couldn't fix if there is a fault with the car.Highly recommended for those in North East and Yorkshire. I am in North East most weekends if u wonder why i have travelled this far to get my car sorted. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Lee and his two brothers Dane and Steve for the stress free experience and their hospitality. Have had lots of work done by them. It's probably the only garage that i will take my car to if i ever need anything big and complicated done on the car. They do a lot of German and Italian luxury cars as well as race cars And i have never seen a workshop as clean as Falcon's. I thought Falcon deserve a mention as they might not be as well known as some on here.

+1000000000 Jaguar and Aston too Feel for you mate Ironically my old man has had issues with both of these manufacturers. Bad body work and components failing! I despair with these manufacturers. Just wait for the letter Nissan will be receiving! Makes no difference i am afraid. Been down that route. Wrote a letter of complaint to the Nissan head office in Hertfordshire and all they did was send me a letter of apology. They got the principal manager from Nissan dealer in Mansfield to ring me up. And guess what..the w34ker was trying to sell me a 370Z right after he had said sorry and he "will" look into his staff's poor rapport with customer. Sometimes saying sorry is not good enough after u have been messed around and ended up £2200 worse off.

If you ever need any pre-owned parts or advice about Zeds, PM R35LEE or ZMANALEX..there is very little that the two of them don't know about..they are like Zed God If your car is out of warranty, not worth going to the Nissan stealer for parts..too expensive and they don't actually know the Zed well enough. And customer service is appaling. Have a look in the search area and find out where your nearest good independent garages are. They could sort u out for a fraction of the price that u pay at the Nissan "stealer".

Hi.. Hopefully all u need is to reset the ECU. Otherwise it might be the O2 oxygen sensors. Mine was constantly on when i had mine..end up replacing the cats and all the O2 sensors..did the trick. The CEL lights has stayed off since
