  1. Anything inside the window is a violation as it affects the reflectivity of the plate. I'll see tomorrow about any exemptions to the rule like if you can blag it by proving your on the way to a garage etc.. I assume you mean attached to the back of the visor facing out of the window?
  2. Thanks Kris .... thought so Not a problem, wouldn't be knocking doors myself but you know when a traffic officer is on the warpath...
  3. Just to clarify on the legalities as the question has been raised a few times. Having the plate hidden whilst parked on any sort of private land (ie. Driveway) is fine. If parked on the side of a public highway (ie. Road outside your house) its a traffic violation and counts as an unlicensed vehicle. But as always is the case with minor violations, depends on the discretion of the officer
  4. Having the inside of the light painted will look good with the right colour match or contrast. But not a fan of the colour changing bulbs, and btw blue will be the colour that the po po will hate the most. As blue headlights and flashing headlights can be mistaken for an emergency vehicle!
  5. You could possibly pull them off if blended to the bonnet. Otherwise not really a fan. There are one or two zeds on the forums that seem to pull it off though and I can see where the inspiration came from!
  6. Zed was in the bodyshop during the last one, should be at the next one pending my shifts
  7. I think the tucks still look good with a K2 style backbox imo. Well I wanted them blending into the rear bumper and they wouldn't do that or even just bolt the on. No issue I can get another set. The seller was fine about it.
  8. what skirts are they?? been looking for while and they are the ones!!! sorry bout reposting but what side skirts are these???? ta I guess part of Nismo N1 or V1 kit. Depending on how rich you are. They're not nismos, they look like the INGS+1 LX skirts
  9. Its a way of showing off an aftermarket exhaust by folding up the centre section of the rear bumper and fixing it in place. A few examples:
  10. Well thats a bit annoying as the bumper was off last week to fit that very same grill! Was at the bodyshop at the time so didn't think to ask about taking off the plate holder while they were there. Ballache!
  11. Was wondering this myself, will soon be getting rid of the ugly JDM front plate holder in order to fit the plate straight to the bumper. Hope it isn't a bumper off job. Struggling to find answers with the search. Also need the same onfo on the JDM rear plate replacement. Can't seem to find a simple way of removing it...
  12. Just remembered, those pics were taken with the bumper off the car. So shouldn't have made a difference.
  13. I have but it doesn't alter the lines an inch or two like they are in the pics. Seller agreed to full refund so not going to name and shame.
  14. Yep a return was my initial thought, just wanted some confirmation as I wanted to book it in somewhere else. EDIT: They are definitely for a 350z
  15. I bought a set of replica Nismo spats and booked the Zed into the bodyshop. I got a phone call telling me the spats don't fit and they couldn't modify the to fit either, I thought this was strange so got a few pics. As you can see in order for them to fit, the spat has to follow the shape of the rear bumper and the bodyshop said can't be done. Also i'm told the material is too thin to trim and modify. I want to know of anybody else has experienced any fitment issues similar to this and if so how did the bodyshop overcome them. The place I took it to isn't a two bit garage, and the other work they carried out for me was spot on.
  16. On the legality side, I don't think it should make a difference parked up and retracted. I'll have a word with one of the traffic officers at work tomorrow or consult my cheat book. Just to set minds at ease.

    30mm spacers

Just looked at driftworks, looks like they only go up to 25mm, think they look like universal fit ones aswell... Digsy - Your stance does look good but I still want that extra 5mm Waiting for a few e-mails back at the moment.

    30mm spacers

I do like it, I don't think I'll like the cost to import from america though. Probably need the arches rolling. I think I'm going to research it a bit more on the US forums. But I'm glad you agree, looks good!

    30mm spacers

This is the stance with 30mm rear. I think it looks spot on myself. Not quite sure of rubbing issues though??
