  1. What I will probably do is wash the zed over the next week and trial fit it myself. Like I said its supposed to fit fine. If any for any reason this didn't fit after posting I would happily refund the buyer
  2. Advert As above, I have a brand new indoor car cover made by cover-craft. This cover is bespoke for a 370Z however I have been reliably informed that it comfortably fits the 350z also. I haven't test fitted it to my 350z as it is a little dirty and I didn't want to get any grit on the brand new cover. Reason for sale is I have no garage now so no use for it! These are the quilted covers and includes cover bag and grommet for the aerial to poke through. These covers are around £200 new for this size vehicle. However I will take £100 +postage. Collection from the Basingstoke area is also fine with me. Here is the site with the full technical spiel: http://www.covercraft-europe.com/our-covers/car-covers/form-fit/index.html And here's the pics (cat not included) Any questions I'll try my best to answer
  3. Good thing I don't want to sell the zed anytime soon then. I did enjoy my S2K.
  4. It took me two months to sell my S2000. It was a great example and well priced! However swings and roundabouts... I managed to pick up my second Zed. 2006 model 296bhp uk GT with 25,000 genuine miles for 8k.
  5. Came alongside you on the A33 towards reading, then behind you for a while. I was in a blue UK GT
  6. Thanks Gudzy. Zmanalex, cheers for the links I will have a look and get in touch.
  7. As above, I will soon be getting decat pipes for the zed, I don't want to throw a CEL light so I need the anti foulers. I've done a search but can't seem to find anywhere that sells them. Also I'm after the Nissan and 350z badges preferably in a dark colour however standard silver is fine as I will just Plastidip them. A whole set preferably! (Either Nissan badge or 'Z' style badge is fine) I'm based in the Basingstoke area or collections, otherwise I'm obviously happy to pay the postage!
  8. When I had my old zed I fitted 30mm spacers to the rear. Driftworks supplied. Pics are on following thread: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/32641-30mm-spacers-fitted-with-pics/
  9. Pm'd you back mate, you have 2nd dibs
  10. Hi all, I bought this race towing hook as part of the group buy but the Zed is going on saturday so don't need it anymore. Its in as new condition and the bolt is still in its packaging. Its the 16mm (JDM) version in silver. I'm based in the Berkshire/Hapmshire area so pick up is fine or can meet locally. Can also post for the extra postage costs. I want £35 for it which I think is fair, will probably come to less than £40 if posted. Cheers Kris
  11. Reading meet is tonight and its dry and warm (ish) so I'll be showing my face. I think I owe it to the zed as shes going on saturday Anybody else?
  12. Its the Reading Jap meet tonight I think you read my mind
  13. Well I reset the ecu, put the cleaner in the tank and had a spirited drive down the M3. Car passed and was under by 0.1%, cheers folks
  14. Cheers, shall I reset it before I set off for the test station?
  15. Do you mean an engine flush treatment or a fuel treatment? They're two different products and procedures - or is the Havoline some wonder multi-purpose tratment? I only ask because I just went through similar with my other car....because its spent the last ten months pootling round town...a fuel treatment into the petrol tank and a 30 mile blast never going below 4k revs sorted it no probs Its Havoline 'fuel system cleaner', so my mistake its fuel treatment not engine flush. Thats good to hear it sorted your problem, gives me a bit more confidence, can you remember how high your readings were?
  16. Thats what the bloke did, first one failed and it after it was ran for a while he did it again. The second one was even higher
  17. I think i'm going to take it for a motorway run then drop it straight in to the tester. I think the emissions on the new nissan PIXO are quite good...
  18. Went to get my MOT done today, and the only think it failed on was the exhaust emissions. Basically it ran 0.61% CO2 in the first test and then 0.96% on the second (limit being 0.30%), which I thought was strange as the results should get lower the hotter the engine. Car isn't decatted just a K2 catback so was a bit surprised with the fail. Basically I've got hold of the Havoline engine flush and i'm going to stick it in the tank, take it for a good spin and take the retest tomorrow. What does everyone think the chances of passing are? I'm racking my brains to think of any measures I can take to lower it as much as possible.

    OEM 18 inch wheels

    Somebody must want these? Offers?
  20. As the title says, I'm getting rid of my oem 18s that were on the car when I bought it. Have since had a set of rays and could do with the space in the garage! Wheels are in good condition apart from two which have slight kerbing. The rears are cheap tyres with plenty of tread and the fronts are Toyo proxes T1Rs that are on the limit. Maybe a good set of drift/track wheels for somebody?? I'm in the berkshire/hampshire area and would prefer collection. I'm asking £100 for these which I think is fair. Rear tyre depth:
