  1. Where in Mansfield are you based? Kris EDIT: PMd
  2. Bump. Somebody make me a silly offer. Needs this gone!
  3. Car looks good but definitely overpriced. Roadsters tend to go for less anyway. I picked up my 06 Azure with 25k on the clock for 8k last month. I think it's a case of being stubborn with the dealer. Easier said than done when the car is sitting there on front of you!
  4. I was in my azure GT. Both parked at the pumps an exchanged a quick hello. Car looked a little lower than standard and quite tidy.
  5. To be quite honest the valuations of it seem to go from £250-£500! Again its only worth what somebody is willing pay. I'm open to offers either way.
  6. I've emailed four companies, so we will see what I get back, worth a try.
  7. And thats the key... I tried to sell N13NJA for about 2 years with no interest, in the end I just let it expire and never bothered renewing the retention certificate. My mate just sold his private plate which was just one letter, one number then his initials - like A1 ABC style and he got 120quid on ebay for it. Unless its really special the 2nd hand market in plates is quite poor atm. Now thats a cracking idea actually! Your right, it's the kind of thing that is worth a lot to somebody, and naff all to most others! I might try googling that reg, good idea!
  8. Was that a company that just purely buys plates to sell on? Or we're they just an advertiser?
  9. No that's what they will give me once its sold, if they would give me that outright I would have snapped it up! Just reread my post I think I should have been clearer.
  10. I've had the plate valued and I've been told its worth £350 as a trade in and it would then be advertised for £600 on the sales sites. With that I wouldn't have to pay the DVLA fees either. However it's now on eBay and would rather a smooth transaction with a forum member and my original price still stands
  11. As above the private plate on my Zed is coming off as I've got another one to put on instead. Would be good for a NA 300bhp zed like mine. The plate is N300 PSJ I'm going to stick it on eBay or maybe from an online plate buyer however I will put it out to the forum for first dibs. Plate is currently on my car so it would just be a case of filling out transfer paperwork, usually takes a few weeks tops. Or I would be happy to meet the buyer at my local DVLA office for a same day transfer. I believe the DVLA reg transfer fee is £80 so I'm going to say £200 for the plate including fees. I'm waiting for it to be valued but I'm not holding out for anything more than that, however I could be pleasantly surprised!! Any questions feel free
  12. Nobody want to make me an offer? Seen these on eBay going for £225.
  13. This is the thing, it's quite unmolested in other areas which is worth money. However a proper suspension setup etc on a car like this is needed and would have to be spent. A ready done car in every way is maybe worth more. It depends on what people value.
  14. Really? You're looking around that sort of price for the turbo install alone surely? I dont think its too bad when you work out of the cost on the Turbo install, all the parts installed. Whats a 25k mile standard Zed of this year going for? 7k - 8k? Imo yes mate. This is the way I look at it.... which will prob be different to alot of people. Its a 2005 car, so it is older, the good thing is it has extremely low mileage. Completely standard gt edition interior and exterior. So that leaves the twin turbo side of the car, which is naturally your biggest selling point. But is it really worth 8 or 9k to someone? Yes I know this is how much it would cost if not more to tt a normal 350z but for that money you are looking at getting a 370z and a much newer car. This is just my opinion mate. It looks a very nice car and I am sure someone will be tempted but I wouldnt spend 16k on a 350z. Yea mine was on 25k on an 06 and was 8k. Agreed with both, the money has been spent and a lot has gone into it. I suppose it's only worth what somebody is willing to pay. A shame really but it's the nature of the beast with these projects.
  15. Agreed, I picked up my azure UK300 with 25k on the clock and a year newer for 8k. Appreciate a lot of money etc has gone into the car but I really don't think it will get bought for that money. Was yours turbo charged then? It would have been a Bargain if it was It's practically double the price of mine, and I see what your saying with regards to the cost of a setup like this, however you will never get back what you have spent, there is always loss on a project like this. However looks like a great car with a proper built setup.

  17. A bit of a 'sleeper'! As far as Zeds go anyway...
  18. Xbox 360 user, I had a Sega master system with light gun etc until I found out recently it got thrown out!!
  19. I'm hoping to be going this year, I've been a few times now but missed the last couple. Really good show with proper cars and proper stands. None of this max power lark.
  20. I don't know whether I really like him or whether I find him a bit annoying?? Felt like a very big geek watching it however, being able to look millions back in time is pretty cool.
  21. The main problem you are going to encounter is motivation. I could talk all day long about the best diets and different training plans but you find all that on google! If you can, try and find a training partner or somebody that enjoys the gym with you, this way it's a lot harder to miss training sessions etc as you have the added pressure of not letting somebody else down. Whatever you do and whichever regime you decide to follow you need to make it varied. Variation in your workouts will decrease chances of boredom and help you stay in a good routine. Your body will also get used to certain types of exercise so variation will also 'shock' the body and see better results. That's only a bit of info but I hope it helps EDIT: Having a gym buddy will also make your exercise more enjoyable, which is a good thing also.
  22. Has anybody been watching the three part series this week? Amazing stuff! Some definite late night bar talk in the programmes
  23. The 370Z being fatter and taller would mean the cover would fit the 350Z. If it was the other way round then it would be a different story. There is a grommet for the aerial and you decide where on the cover you want it to protrude. I can do a test fit to prove not a problem
  24. These days everybody wants smaller engined cars with lower tax etc. The Zed and similar cars are becoming more and more of a niche market, and therefore harder to sell. However good for buyers.
