adaptor will only fit in one way. While the adaptor is scanning for devices when ignition is swithced on, you should see a flashing yellow LED on the top of the adaptor. Once paired with a phone it will go solid red. If you have no LED indication then it may be dead or a blown fuse.

I'm sure they will be some spare 2nd hand ones lying around peoples garages here if you ask. It can be welded though for around £40 - £60

What Interenet browser are you using Chris. I think with IE there is a problem with the software and the Fast Reply is always. Have you just updated your IE software. It doesn't do this on Firefox Well it does on Firefox now......... what version Firefox are you using. Its not doing it on mine. I'm on 3.6.11
