  1. it would be a lot cheaper to just get some old parts, clean them up and stick a clock on them.
  2. looks good, just not £100 good.
  3. my car was stranded for 3 weeks over winter, but that's because I live at the bottom of a rather steep hill so there was never a chance for me
  4. seen a few OEM bumpers done like this, looks good IMO. I had everything ready to carbon wrap mine but I had a change of heart just before I did it.
  5. surely they shouldn't have been able to completely cover the car in swirls from just one wash?!

lovely I think one day I'll have to start a project like that!
  7. you can get big bags of them from ebay - but there's LOADS in a bag. search for popper fixings or something like that I think it was. I needed some but ended up just taking 'spares' from elsewhere on the car
  8. Where are you having it all fitted and painted? I'm needed some bit fitted and sprayed in next few weeks but not sure of places to go...
  9. saw it too, poor zed! There was no way on earth I was taking mine!
  10. Im sure you already did this thread and got answers or was that someone else?
  11. I wonder if I'm still meeting him 100 miles away from home next Saturday morning - not had any message from him?!
  12. my windscreen cracked at exactly the same time as yours it seems - spooky!
  13. As I said in your other thread, Burley Hill Garage have been alright with me. They are also part of the Good Garage Scheme.
  14. it's funny because it's true!
  15. I think bodykits are a grey area when it comes to the options list, not heard of anyone managing to get a bodykit insured as OEM before that's for sure! I think a lot of the telephone staff need educating a bit more in modifications when they are the ones deciding how much extra to charge you for them. I remember trying to explain an ECU reflash to Liverpool Victoria and had to give up after 15 minutes as it got me nowhere. Far better now with the likes of Sky and Chris Knott, very refreshing when they know exactly what you are talking about and made a much more informed decision based upon that info!
  16. made a few, then realised there's already a few, now have to leave work as I need some food!!
  17. As the title says, show everyone what you've got!
  18. As the title says, show everyone what you've got!
  19. seen on a few different car forums and a few threads seem to have been popping up recently, so how about sticky for each car colour in the photo archive? Nice and easy for people with a certain colour to see different variations and also good for people deciding on which colour to buy.
  20. who is the genius who told you that, local kwik-fit man?
  21. +1 on the weight distribution. I was contemplating putting a foam insert with a toolkit and tyre can in, should be a bit closer to the spares weight.
  22. never heard of it - whats it all about?
  23. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1654946.htm where?
