Who ever designed this kit must really hate the shape of the GTR because they tried so hard to hide its original lines and shape.

Id also recommend buying new studs if the old ones are corroded. Quite often they're over tightened. Re torquing them after a difficult removal often leads to them snapping.

Where are you based DDay. See here for an example of a rear quarter transplant. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/75521-rt-performances-build-on-wassos-car-heres-how-we-did-it/ I wouldn't recommend transplanting a used rear quarter unless it's both layers which needs transplanting in which you can get a clip from the salvage. But if it's just the outer skin, it is more then likely going to warp or get damaged when removing the single skin off the donor car. In honesty if your salvage yard is willing to remove just the outer skin, it'll probably cost less to buy a new one because taking it off is a time consuming job.

Ive never seen a carbon bonnet without clear lacquer on it... Unless it's a dry carbon bonnet or vinyl fakie?

correct. A warn out water thermostat would stick open so water is constantly flowing making it over cool when you drive and warm up when you stop. Your oil cooler would have to be so cold that it cools the engine before cooling the water down so got nothing to do with the oil cooler or oil thermo.

As Arran said. Thats the water gauge. If your oil thermostatic plate is working ok then it shouldn't bring the water temp level that low. Maybe it's your water thermostat that is on its way out?

Ive come across a felt material vinyl wrap for cars which is waterproof. Im thinking of using it as an alternative to flocking because it's finer and wont cling as much as flocking also it won't flake off.

Hard wire it meaning that it'll feed off the battery directly correct? Does this mean the camera will always be on standby? Will this drain the battery?

gosh that must have sucked. Got to get that camera of yours working. BTW does your camera have the function to record if the car is off?

So what are you going to do BBK? Go private and fix it or claim on insurance? Did you fix the first hit n run?

I would ask them to fix it and make sure it's a good colour match. Saves you the inconvenience of running around getting it fixed.
