May I ask where you bought spacers and longer studs from? For that kind of money, its worth doing just to pass some time. The person I bought my wheels from has loads of bits and pieces regarding wheels. I got the spacers from him and the longer wheel studs from a ebay (A good source obviously) Pm me and Ill give you the details. Why not post public if they are already on eBay?

I reckon the 5.5 hours is bullsh*t and the mechanic probably just wanted to be paid for sitting there drinking coffee and twiddling his fingers, as he couldn't be asked to fiddle around with the exhaust or wasn't competent enough (I apologise if this mechanic is on this forum or if I've offended anyone with that comment). I just find it hard to believe somebody sat there fiddling around with an exhaust for 5.5 hours, I would have given up within an hour if it was that awkward. It took the guys an additional 15-30 mins to sort the issue out. All-in-all I was charged £80 to fit the full exhaust system. I personally wouldn't have gone for the Toyosport exhaust if I hadn't got it free due to the sole reason that there aren't enough people with them on. Now that it's on and didn't cost a ridiculous amount to fit it, I am very happy with the exhaust. The noise and looks are just perfect! The fact that no modification was required to the car itself to allow the exhaust system to fit (i.e. removing the diff shield), highlights it weren't extremely awkward to fit. I agree with what both of you guys are saying here. The biggest problem is that there is no consistency with the fitting. Some fit ok, some fit really really badly. The scorpion is always the same but the cars slightly changed which made the route by the diff abit awkward. I have the revup car and the scorpion fitted perfect first time. When you go to the likes of nismo, hks, 5zigen etc etc(ie premium exhausts) They fit perfect everytime. The reason for them being much more expensive is that the designing and testing stages, and equipment used, to make these exhausts are much more indepth and accurate. This is why there is such a big difference in prices and fitment. Is that how petty you are going for a dig.... And you are wrong http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=48018&hilit=Hks+Uk+part+no+Hks+exhaust+Uk

they get paid far too much by the looks of it

looking at it again i actually prefer the 370z dash, i like the bose speakers in the seats though
-
what most of us forget is that the 350z (even 06 facelift) interior isnt a patch on the 370z. For us 350z owners the infiniti is a massive jump.

i was gonna use it to illuminate on the rear strut brace when the boot opens but i never got round to it, it takes a sidelight led bulb so will light any colour you wish
-
looking good mate. I cant help but feel that if i deleted my rear wiper i couldnt get used to not having it. I regularly use mine to watch out for police following me in the rain

my front end gets stripped and resprayed yearly. It has more chips on it than a gravel path

i'm using mobil just now and its lasting alot longer than castrol edge. Burning about 100ml less between top ups in comparison to edge I expect there is an easy answer to this but why are using mobil and not motul that you advertise on your car BTW, I have used Motul in my ZEDs Im using motul brake fluids i use lots of oil so whatevers laying around at the time goes in. Mobil 1 was 50quid for 5 litres in shops, i got it for 13.50
-
i don't really care to be honest, just going on common knowledge, and what i would and wouldn't put in the zed, not saying mobil is sh1te, just saying its not as good as it used to be. as for the castrol, i did say a while back that castrol has its issues, and i wouldn't put it in the zed, it can go extremely thin. and has to be watched carefully. yep sorry if i came across like i was debating. I was just suprised as i also heard the mobil stuff was shite and that castrol edge was brilliant

You think? I've been in the 370z and G37S and no way the G37S is worth the premium. They are 2 different cars though, G37 is much more laid back, big sofa seats. 370z is more focused and sporty. As far as fit and finish go, although Infiniti is a bit better, I wouldnt say its night and day. after a full day at inifiniti, The G37S is by far much better quality and the interior is outstanding. Bose speakers in the headrests etc. Wouldnt get that in a good old fashioned datsun

Received today mate Thanks again for the speedy delivery

i used yellowstuff pads on track and thought they were fantastic value for money. Not sure about the discs though. Probably be rebranded ebc discs. EBC's pads have all got new compounds and are much better than they used to be. If you search you will see many threads debating this.
