you can use the oem gaskets for decats matey, they should be ok. The manifold gaskets at the top are expensive to replace. I reused mines and they were fine Pm replied to mate

my clutch does that also if dumped. Its because the initial torque going through it is so high that the clutch cannot cope with it. My clutch is perfect, just doesnt like people trying to do burnouts with it.

Shame about the eclipse mate! We have a striving polish community where I live and are all very very nice people. My mates missus is polish and we over there last summer for his wedding. It's just a freakin pain to keep them running well..... yep it costs a fair bit and alot of time needs to be spent. As long as you do the checks after your finished with it, it will be fine. Use after run oil etc and clean it with degreaser. If you learn to tune them then its alot easier. Always use a temp gun to check the engine temps as this is what kills a nitro car.

tamiya rc cars are very soft. I have lots of rc cars, nitro and electric. If going electric go for an hpi and put a brushless motor in it. Brushless motors are faster than some nitro cars but the problem is battery life. This is why I ventured onto nitro as it never runs out.
