  1. When the problem started on mine I tried to use one of those compressed air keyboard cleaners on it. The thing stopped skipping in favor of simply not recognising disks full stop. R35LEE fixed mine in the end and its been perfect.
  2. I bought my car with 7k miles and the tyres (original) looked pretty new. Guess it depends how you drive it though. Get new ones and geometry check done IMO

    P1 Qs

My car is due a P1 service and I have the following questions.. I bought some silkoline pro a while ago when it was on offer. If I give it to the guys at the garage will they use that instead of the std oil? I had a revup tune since last service, is there any way this might get deleted during the service? ty
  5. Some nice cars on that rimtuck website! This has given me some ideas Best: He must have noticed when he got this back from the bodyshop, no? Worst:
  6. Love the door handles! Would love to get rid of the orange strip myself. That tax disk holder is heinus tho dude.

    Limosine tint

I've seen a couple of azure cars with black roof and limo tint rear window and think it looks great. I was wondering if anyone has had it done to a kuro and what it looks like? Also, what is a typical cost and is it easily removed? Cheers
  8. The vid looks very professional, but both of those guys look way too much like douchebags to pound her IMO. Also the song blows.
  9. I don't get it. Yeah its probably the best one of these I've seen, but thats like being the hottest girl at fat camp.
  10. Surprised no one has mentioned these:
  11. Great job, the kuro is a very rewarding paint to detail IMO. Nice plate too, surely that thing is worth a lot of money to the right skyline vspec 2 owner?
  12. Next time I get a similar scrape I will do a more detailed report. The meguires did all the hard work. Caution is advised with it, even on a DA polisher it's a very aggressive compound with the wool pad. The sonus sfx system works great on my kuro zed but against damage this heavy it would be a very slow process without some cutting first. Sorts out holograms and swirls rapidly. This wouldn't work on stone chips. Although the scratch looks pretty hideous it was mostly very light. Cheers
  13. Another little present left on my car last week . Had a go at sorting it out myself with good success. Used meguires ultra cut compound on a soft wool pad to flatten it out, followed by sonus SFX1 on foam pad to tidy up, with sonus SFX3 again on foam pad to finish off. Whole process took about an hour and i'm pleased with the results. Before After Other than the tiny bit that was right down to the plastic, the scratch is invisible
  14. David Nurrish - 2.03%..lol!
  15. Great talent, attention to detail and patience. I would feel like a complete nodder driving that thing around tho
  16. If the drying out fails, bear in mind these phones fetch very good money on eBay almost regardless of condition. I sold mine on there after it had fallen into a chocolate gâteau at a party. Wasn't working very well at all and this was clearly stated in the ad, still got over £200 for it, and it was the older, non "s" version.
  17. Looking to update my knobs to the ones with the aluminium edges. Also after the silver gearstick surround, as in this pic:
  18. Cheers, will set about looking for a replacement set of knobs. The center compartment i'm talking about is the one thats by your elbow when you are driving. It has the bluetooth adapter in it.
  19. Looking to freshen up the interior a little, can the 06+ air-con knobs with the aluminium edges be applied to the older models? Anyone know a source for these? Also, whilst i'm at it, what about the sliding center compartment? Cheers
  20. Love everything on this car! Blended skirts and spats look great, as do the wheels. Also think the black spoiler and lip really suit the yellow. Major from me I'm thinking black door handles would look great on this Z?
  21. I'll take the wipers if they are still for sale
  22. Both cars looking fantastic. Does the front bumper vent make power or is it just aesthetic?
  23. +1 Spoiler is the highest impact single mod IMO. Not that cheap though, I would guess you will need £500 to get one and have it painted and fitted nicely. Never seen a problem with the OEM aerial, but think i'm in the minority That roof/limo tint looks awesome. Never seen it before. Don't know why more people don't do that, especially on the azure
  24. Love that front end. Get some more/better pics up IMO
