Ive PMd CS and hes taking a while to reply. Plus hes not that local. I said I wouldn't use West Way Birmingham again after they charged me £517 to fix window, don't ring you when your car is ready EVER even tho they say they will ALWAYS, the glorified receptionist guy in there is a total nodder and when they cleaned my car (without me asking them to) it came back dirty and swirled. Never used colliers but when I rang for a quote they didnt seem interested. Im not aware of any other local garages.

Birmingham. 04 plate. P1 serviced at 4500 miles in 05 and 11 months ago at 7.5k miles (was unused/unloved by previous owner). 16.5k miles now

Anyone tried this website? They quoted £330 for full service, aircon recharge and MOT, including pickup and delivery. This is about what my local garage charged for just a service, so the price is good, but I have some concerns. No idea what garage they will be using, and I think my car is due a P2 service. I assume full service means P3. Anyone with experience with this website? Cheers

I have topped up the car and it sounds like its running sweet. Used almost a whole thing of oil tho! Going in for a full service/MOT next week...will this reveal any possible damage caused by low oil? Will check oil regularly from now on. Thanks for the help guys.

Car had a service when I bought it 8000 miles ago. It was low on oil today (not as low as my original reading, but way below the hash markings on the dipstick). Is using this amount of oil over 8000 miles normal?

I have never checked or replaced the oil. I bought the car with 7.5k on it now it has 15.5k. Does it need doing more than this?

Ahh the drive is sloped...Gonna park it on road and recheck.

Ok I know very little about cars and arbitarily decided to check my oil...The car has been on my drive all night. I took the stick out, wiped it, put it back in, and examined. It came back basically clean. Am I correct in assuming this means haenus problems? Took it out then wiped it off... Put it back... Pulled it out again.

Stange noise has started happening. Sounds somwhere between a "whoosh" and a rapid click. Happens usually whenever im going fairly slowly (20-40 mph) if I accelerate then take my foot off accelerator. Anyone experienced this? I'm in Birmingham and niether Colliers Nissan nor West Way Nissan are able to look at it until next week. Cheers

Considering getting a full respray done. Want to get a really top notch job...Anyone got any idea of cost and could recommend a good bodyshop? (Birmingham area preferable).

Seems to be worse when im using the car a lot, which pretty much goes dead against the condensation theory. Gonna try get hold of a cleaning disk tomorrow. If that fails looks like its gonna be £300 swapsie with clarion. Doesnt seem too bad considering my window motor fix ran to over £500.

It is Bose. When its working its fine with either copied CDs or originals. When its not working niether work. Thanks for info, checking out clarion now.

An intermittent fault has started happening with the 6CD changer on my car. It just cycles through all the CDs and doesnt play any of them, then says "check disk". Seems to be getting more frequent. Anyone experienced this?

Got back to the car park and someone had kindly left this on my rear wheel arch... Also there are a couple of other annoying marks like these on the paintwork: Would like to get it all sorted out. Can anyone reccomend a good body shop in the Birmingham area? Also, just had a new driver side window motor fitted. If anyone wants the old one with intermitent fault its free if you pick it up or send me £5 for the postage. I read somwhere they can be refurbished. Cheers, Chris

Can anyone recommend somewhere in the Birmingham area to replace my drivers window motor? It works on and off at the moment but seems to be working less frequently then it did a month ago. Nissan dealer wanted over £500. I have found the parts for sale for around £100 but I am not confident in fitting it myself. The procedure looks tricky. Cheers
