my preperation inckudes finishing all the silly mods and fixes i started but havent had the time or patience to do. so all in all a good thing dont forget your toothbrush

just went out for some heel toe, early morning empty road practice as a reward for my hard work. i havent started the speedo yet and im not sure about the red on the ac controls... i liked the blue...hmmm. sleep on it me thinks

ok maybe beer wasnt a good idea. things seem to have moved more slowly hmm. finally finished the centre dials decided to change the heater controls to have red led's instead of blue. as much as i liked the blue i need to try and keep to a colour scheme, since the needles are red it had to go in doing this i stripped a pad from one of the led mounts and had to reroute the power using a single strand of copper taking about an hour (long story). i also hacksawed part of the centre console and removed a screw to let the old style cubby supplied with nurrish's nav system retract properly, for some reason on my car it got stuck on the screws that hold the triple gauges on. but now for some reason the sat nav has stopped working nurrish you have a PM oh and im bloody tired now onto the speedo. . . . . . . so i have a nightshift to get my internal clock straigh for tomorrow, which means im sitting here on ma tod till at least 6am sooo. i thought what better time than to get this beast finally finished! anyway im 4 bottles of beer in and this is what ive achieved: 1 bottle 2 bottles in 3 bottles and some square sausage i had hiding away in. 4 bottles and im just putting it all back together again and betting ready to take the main cluster out. this is the best way to mod im sure of it haha

tbh anything can go in a sandwich. but!! the best is if you put them in a wrap! my favourite at the moment is: two types of cheese, marmite, samlami, pepperoni all melted in the microwave in the wrap. mmmmmmm drool or the same mixture but ontop of a toasted crumpet or in a toasted bagel. mmmmmm

I don't see a chav as someone with more money than sense. I think what we're talking about here is just what some people would see as poor taste modifications. Someone who has bad taste in mods is not neccessarly a chav - just someone I maybe wouldn't want to do the interior design on my house................. I really don't see the big deal here. I used to drive a type R, loved the car and would have another any day of the week - I will never look like a chav in it whatever anyone else does to theirs. If you love the car keep it, if you want something else get something else. Everyone moves on eventually - who gives a stuff? I'll probably have my car a long time because I can't see what I could afford to 'upgrade' to that would give me half the pleasure. I've never kept a car so long because of that reason. There are people on here who i've 'known' the 3 years i've been here who are good mates and equally people who've been here not long at all who are friends too. Things change - ITS ALL GOOD! +1
