For people with no knowledge this has now become the most confusing thread of all time -With your car with some modifications within a reasonable budget of 1.5k? you could get 300bhp out of it possibly. -Or by spending something over 5k? you could supercharge it and comfortably get 350bhp. You cant unlock power in a 350z like you can in a focus st.

I'd prob think layering images is one of the most important things. think of it like lots of sheets of acetate your drawing on and then stacking them up

yeah should be, tbh all the photo editing packages are very similar so when you know how to use one you know how to use them all. its just practice and fiddling about, trying all the buttons. the big thing is patience, it take ages.

adobe photoshop elements but any simple photo editing software will give you something decent if you are inventive. the easiest way to do it is layering images. Tbh i have done it on powerpoint before combined with MS paint and print screen as you can layer them with PP and manipulate each piece with paint then create a new merged image with print screen. it doesnt look great though due to the resolution etc find all the elements of the image you want to combine colours shapes etc. then get them all together like a collage and start fitting them together like a jigsaw. you can alter some of them to match others, like changing colours to match and air brushing some shapes together. Like most deisgn its best to come at it with a plan and a palette of colours. so in this case chris said he wanted black and dark red, the white of the car provided the highlight. Throw it together over an hour or so and your done. one of the tricky bits i find with the cars is the underneath, wheels etc. as normally in photos they are dark so its nealry impossible to cut the line and make it look good. so the best bet is to find pictures that match. If the car was taken on gravel then find a gravel picture and blend them. if it was taken with lots of shadows sit it in a dark area. that saves you alot of effort with the lower half of the car.

nah dont do it as a living but i know i should have gone down a design not engineering route i have a widescreen version high enough resolution for my laptop wallpaper if you want it
