  3. you weren't ill today matt, you told me you were bored and trying to skip out of doing your coursework
  4. PS: i always hate reading my rant after i've done it i just come across as such an arse
  5. sorry, grumpy hat was on this morning it honestly really wasn't directed at anyone one person at all, just a general sweeping comment about the catch phrase that has taken, so anyone who has taken offence; colin, chris etc. apologies. I would say what gets me the most is that Chris had a bad experience and didnt get to enjoy the car like he should have and it didn't get sorted in a way that made him happy. That means that on this forum its like treading on egg shells even mentioning jaguar , on any other forum its no different to any other brand I'm proud to work where I do and because of that i cant help get a bit carried away when there are digs at it I'm going to go up and edit my original post, not to remove content or change what is says but to remove the naughty bits...
  6. sorry to fire off topic here but: seriously guys, with the jaguar comments. im going to put the biggest NISSANS = POOR BUILD QUALITY banner in my sig ever seeing as both of the nissans i have had have been made by 5 year old children they are so poorly put together. I have had to get both of them taken apart and put back together at my own expense so I am happy with them. And what is the reputation of nissan garages in forum users eyes? Do we tell users of this forum that they shouldnt have bought a nissan becasue nissan service in general is shocking and the cars have common faults? no we dont, we promote them. I think its just rediculous that people can discuss in one section; people who have had crap service at nissan, cars with major faults and a warranty that wont help them one bit. Then in another section say how jaguar are so bad you shouldnt buy one for exactly the same reasons??? by that logic how the hell can we promote the nissan 350z whatsoever. same old thing, its like the reaction people have to the tabloids. Because the Sun newspaper says someone is evil, he IS evil, no matter how nice he actually is. This ongoing BS, annoying, slanderous c**p based on one persons experience is just a completely biased view and as you can probably tell is really really irritating every time I see it. Fair enough quote rating, surveys, reviews, whatever, but to continuously bash a brand based on one persons experience is poor form. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones!

    OMG!!!!

make sit easier to get the back end lively on a couple of spares, not a new trick
  8. actually i missed a trick, recycle last years card EDIT: at least more people will get the joke this year
  9. i thought about wishing you happy birthday yesterday. that is all
  10. Im not condoning this im just curious to know how it works, is the traction control flared up by incorrect sizes or incorrect sizes front and back? yeah i reckon it is front to back on a pre06 car. mine are a bit out due to available sizes in the width i wanted, not as much as suggested here but i made sure they are the same amount out front to back, never had any TC problems.
  11. simply put, yes it does matter. the car was designed to run with a certain tyre circumference. going outside of this is just pointless unless you have very specific requirements and know what your doing. but the TC may not flare up as much if all tyres circumference is altered by the same percentage. bear in mind the profile is not a measurement but a percentage of the width. for the sake of a few quid just do it right
  12. A) dont put the wrong profile tyres on, just dont even go there, there are pages and pages of why not to if you really want to know look them up B ) dont scrimp on tyres! C) shop online at mytyres, camskill or alike D) MOST IMPORTANT, please please please do not use places like kwikfit, i just recently went to look at the damage they did to a range rover underneath when they put their ramp straight through its air compressors and reservoir instead of a jacking point. bad times. £k's damage
  13. you seen the pulse rocket version? trying to find it, i remember it was on a program, maybe james mays big ideas. basically consoted of a block with rocket nossles, it pules the rockets to place itself in any orientation perfectly. very impressive. trying to you tube it but finding it hard
  14. not that i like the look but... tip no.1: buy wider wheels those nismos are nancy widths if you want an imposing look.
  15. nope never seen it, where's it a repost?
  16. fail anders, just fail did you not do half of the checks yourself first??
  17. like i said, from everything i read its best not to open the lines of communication at all. If you do, you open the floodgates for them to get money out of you.
