Ordered a pot of DoDo Juice Purple Haze yesterday afternoon from i4Detailing and it arrived at the door this morning on normal delivery with a complementry piece of bubblegum (unchewed i should probably add!!!) Anyway - great service and will be reccomending them to friends and would not hesitate to use them again myself either. Looking forward to trying out the wax on the Z at the weekend too Jak

As in title really, me and my gf are planning on heading out to Japan for a few weeks around April time next year, was just wondering if any of you had been out there and could recomend places to stay/ sights to see etc etc... Not got a massive budget so no posher than posh hotels unfortunatly! but we would rather have our own room as opposed to a dorm type thingy. I dont really dont think i can afford to spend £60+ on wax so the Supernatural is out of the question - though i do not doubt its capabilities as i have heard its pretty much the dogs danglies. So the choice has been narrowed down to Purple Haze or Rain Forest Rub - Which do you think would give the best results? Jak

Cheers Ian, that was one of the ones i was looking at - also saw Rainforest rub at a good price but the ad dosnt say what colour car it suits.... Do you just use a microfibre cloth to apply, then another to buff off? Jak

i really like he Zele orange one except the wheels, in my opinion the standard dark wheels would look much better with the orange. So..... Any takers on the Red one? Jak

3FIDDYZ is correct, the 1st UK cars were not available with sat-nav, hense the Tom Tom. Sat Nav is availabl now but the waiting list is a bit of a bugger. After thinking about it i think the non sat nav is a blessing in diguise - now, with aid of Tom Tom (or similar), you can view how much G you are pulling whilst taking the "next turn on the left"!!!

i actually really like the nismo stickers , if i can ever afford to buy a nismo/nismo replica kit i will really consider stickering up!, would paint lip skirts and spats black too probably

the red looks so much better in the metal than in the pictures too nixy - i always thought white would be my fav but since seeing this one it got me thinking! i saw a white one at JTS this year and as i was walking up to it i couldnt help but think it resembled a storm troopers helmet from the side!!! (before i owned my Z otherwise would have come over and said hello to a few people at the 350z-uk stand!) was still deciding between an ITR DC5 and a Z then.

Hi, A few of you may remember me posting a few pics of my Z with red R35 GTR. The Owner of the GTR is now definatly selling up so i thought i'd put a post on here just incase any of you fancied it! Its a Red UK premium edition with dark wheels, black leather interior and Bose etc, not 100% sure how many miles it has but will be sub 2k i think! Asking price is £53,995 which i think is pretty good considering the waiting list! This price does not include the private plate (V6 GTR) the car would be supplied with the 09 reg. Okie Dokie, i reckon i might go for the Autoglym to start as we seem to have alot of there products kicking around the garage and it seems pretty reasonably priced too - then if i get on with it i may go posher next time (ie Black fire or DoDo - I will be splitting the costs with my bro anyway so not such a bigoutlay really!) Thanks alot for all the advice, will get some result pics up when i get my arse in gear! Jak I must say actually when i polished the car this weekend i used a microfibre cloth to polidh off with as apposed to the standard polish cloths and i really think it made a great difference to the shine - anyone else agree with this?

and you would rub it in using small circular motions avec les applicator? as you would with polish? Whats the consensus on Autoglym High Definition Wax? Jak

oh dear i fear i'm going to sound very naive now - having never used a wax before how do you apply it? perhaps foolishly i assumed it would be similar to applying polish Thanks for all the help too by the way! Jak

to be honest its not even as frequent as every other weekend, but i would say probably at least once a month - maybe i should cut back! i think the shine is addictive! Would you polish / clay before applying the 1st coat of wax just to make sure no crap is under it?
