Good choice It has touchscreen Still happy with mine though, if you keep waiting for the new version of something, you never buy anything Absolutely. If it wasn't due for release until next year I'd buy the 5 but as it's meant to be out this month I'll hang off for the N. The improvements are small but should make a difference! Mark, I was always going to buy a 550D however the size and learning curve put me off. The DSLR I'm sure would be ultimately better however the NEX range looks perfect for what I want pocket size, good quality images and plenty to play with. It's a good crossover and some of the shooting modes on the camera will do away with PP. Hopefully perfect for me! Pocket size? You may struggle to get the N into your pockets with the lens on Stew I know what you're saying tho, it's a lot smaller than an SLR.

I recently upgraded from my 40D to a 7D. I was going to keep my 40D but fancy a nice new lens for my 7D so I think its time to put it up for sale. The camera is in very good condition with slight (but unnoticeable when in use) scratches on the back screen. I have looked after it with immense care and cleaned it regularly. The camera is 4 years old so you will appreciate the condition when looking at the photos. Camera bodies depreciate (because they are updated almost every year) but the lenses do not and hold value well. I am offering the 40D with two lenses. The first is the kit lens that came with my 7D. EFS 18-135mm IS. The lens has not been used and is immaculate. The second is the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM. It was bought shortly after the 40D and is also in very good condition. The camera is unboxed and I'm having trouble locating the charger (not to worry, i will find it and wouldn't dream of selling without). It comes with two batteries (one canon and one energizer), a 2gb CF card and a crumpler shoulder bag. I had the 404 in my zed and I wouldn't say it was that good. Quite fiddly to navigate through the music menu. I would try something else next time.

That's what I have been saying all along!! I'm not sat in any corner but the fact that I like apple makes people assume that I am! it's highly irritating and I've gotten to the stage where I'm just trying to wind people up! Thanks for the update on the galaxy. If the iPad wasn't an option, I would definitely go for the samsung. I like samsung a lot Theyre no apple tho! Have you kept the iPad? I think the iso5 will be a big game changer.

Apple users get defensive because it's only apple, people have a go at. How often you hear a apple user say "Microsoft is rubbish and I hate bill gates! I hate what he's done to PC's"? There's only negative things ever said about apple products and that's why it's seems like people who use apple stuff get defensive. OSX hasn't changed in 10 years! Why? Because it's brilliant. Is this me blowing smoke up apples arse or is it me stating a fact?.....it's me stating a fact! I used windows for years and never really liked it (Let's not forget how brilliant "vista" was), I bought a MacBook and just like it better than windows. I am allowed to like other things that are not Microsoft! At the end of the day, windows is sh*t, I like apple, that's allowed.

Do I detect that you support Apple, sometimes a little blindly? Ermm, I didnt write that!! Why are you quoting things that I didn't write!?!? I haven't justified anything, I've simply suggested alternatives! Good man and yes, it is amazing how people covert! That's what I think the problem is with these ani-apple folks. They quickly dismiss anything apple, classing them 'style over substance' without even trying them!

Thanks for the edit Chris I liked the way you put the flaws Chris. You have valid points and yet you didnt seem to think that anything apple came from Satan's arse. Apple products are far from perfect but what product is anywhere near perfect!? As I said, I'm a big fan of apple but that doesn't mean I worship them and would never buy anything else other than apple. In fact, I absolutely hate the fact that if you want to upgrade anything from the apple store, you have to pay through the nose! I bought a bog standard iMac a few weeks ago and I just put 16gb of memory in it for £89. If I wanted apple to do that for me, they would add...... £480!!!!!! Disgusting!!! I still think my iMac is amazing tho! As they say "don't hate the player, hate the game!"

Did you try to sync your old phone to your computer and then transfer them to the iPhone? Probably not. If the camera bothered you that much then I would suggest buying a proper camera. What would you need the extra storage for? I have a desk top that I can move things to easily if I needed extra storage. My iPhone battery lasts a whole day at least and you know what? At the end of the day, I go to bed. This is a good time to charge the phone. What a load of rubbish!! Just because it's easy to find your way around, it means you're not technical!? Seriously!? I'm pretty sure you've offended everyone who owns an iPhone there! Boasting!?!? It's a main feature of the iPhone! If I told you my car has a sunroof, is that boasting or am I just telling you about the cars features!? Wow, you must be the only person who is right out of all your mates!

Contradiction overload! You hate apple but love the iPhone.....that's fair enough. I suppose that's a good view to have. You're not caught up in the debate. You appreciate the iPhone for what it is.

Same thing happened to my iPhone 3. I had to take my MacBook to the apple shop in the end! You can try to create a new profile on your PC, install iTunes there and try again. Apple tried this for me and that found an issue with my profile.......for the life of me, I can't remember what they did!?

That's so typical! I admitted that I'm an apple fan so I'm bias!? When you read that, what you saw was "I think apple is the best and I would never EVER consider any other product!" you couldn't be any further from the truth! I also said that if there was a better product, I would say fair enough! Name me a better product? Over the years, I have had countless PC's, laptops, handheld gadgets and mobile phones. I now have an iPhone, iPad, iMac and an iPod. What's your logic for me choosing these products? Vanity? Or could it be that I think these products work extremely well and I'm yet to find something that I prefer! I can honestly say that if I tried another product that I prefer, I would be happy to ditch any apple product and that's more than any anti-apple individual can admit to! Oh and better spec doesn't mean better product!

I don't think so, still no easy way to switch between apps, no true multitasking, no "just type" or "synergy", completely locked down, crappy (non existent) notifications, couldn't tether to your phone last time I checked, sms etc from your iPhone don't automatically show up on the iPad... looks like iOS 5 may fix a few of those issues though but it's still lacking a lot of features as Apple want to save some for the next pad in 12 months otherwise people won't upgrade! None of your issues bother me and besides, no device is perfect for everyone. What gets to me is people just slagging the iPad off just because it's apple. You can't deny that's it's the best tablet on the market? (the anti-apple people will!) I'm a big apple fan but if there was a better tablet out there, I would say fair enough. Why would you want to tether to your phone?? If you have a 3G signal on your iPad, chances are, you'll have a 3G signal on your phone! I can understand you wanting to tether you iPhone so that you can connect your wifi iPad but not the other way around!? Oh and iso5 will solve most of those "issues"

Pfffffft!! I genuinely don't understand why people are so anti-apple! Leeroy, style over substance!? Have you ever used an iPad? I think you mean 'style WITH substance! I've picked up almost every tablet there is and nothing feels as nice and user friendly with the quality the iPad delivers! My MacBook Pro (and iPad wifi) was stolen last month so I bought an iMac and a iPad 3G. I can honestly say that I do not miss my MacBook pro in the slightest and that my iPad can do everything that I need when on the move!
