  1. It's been a very long time since I've been on here and just spotted your post! That was meeee! Bit of a long time ago...whoops!
  2. The inside is probably trashed with the airbags hanging out...reckon they got that picture from google images!
  3. Just looking at Autotrader and came across this... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p Bargain for £7,495.....if you're stupid!
  4. It's been a while since I was last on here so thought I'd start off with saying hello! I was wondering if anyone could help me. My clutch is slipping big time so I'm looking for a new one. I've had so many different suggestions on clutches and flywheels, I'm now totally confused Does anyone have any suggestions on clutches and flywheels? I was planning on replacing both as I didn't fancy forking out more money on labour if I needed to replace the flywheel at a later date. I spoke to a Nissan dealer and he advised that I wouldn't get much change from £2000! I don't fancy a Nissan standard clutch as they seem to go pretty quickly. I don't drive my GT4 hard all the time so I could do with something which would be in between competition and road use. I'd like something that's not stupidly heavy. Any recommendations/suggestions would be awesome! Thanks all!
  5. Absolutely AMAZING!!! Thanks all I can say. Thank you sooooo much lrh for sending me the instructions on how to solder the audio cable to the tape board. The sound quality is so much better than I thought it would be! Pat on the back for me for managing to remove the stereo, unscrew all the nuts and bolts to get into the HU, soldering some wires and then putting it all back together again! Well done me!
  6. Thanks soooooo much peeps for the advice. I've decided to brave it and go for the line in for an MP3 player! So far I've dismantled the HU and taken the tape deck out. I've bought myself a male to male audio cable, chopped it in half and exposed the 3 cables. I've also got myself a tape adaptor and taken all the 'bits' out of it. All I need now is my friend to come round with his soldering iron and hopefully hey presto! Job done! I just hope I remember my soldering skills from when I last used an iron, which was....hmm....at school I really hope this works. It'll be amazing to have some decent tunes playing in the car. The music I listen to in the car is currently the lovely sound of the engine and my new exhaust system which I bought! I'll keep you posted and let you know if it works. Thanks lrh for the info!
  7. I have nuber 160 in Kuro black.
  8. Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing good! I've got a question which I'm sure its been answered on many occasions, but I couldnt find much on it. My Bose CD player doesn't work. It keeps saying eject CD and thats about it. I've taken the whole HD out and opened up the CD compartement. I've not managed to find pictures of how they should look. The previous numpty of an owner looks like they've shoved a screwdriver through the CD loader and bent the metal part and managed to take the CD cassette off its pins. Does anyone here know what I mean. I'm struggling to fix it myself and I'm not sure if it would be worth fixing. Anyway do I: a) Buy a new double din headunit (which after reading some things about installing is a bit of a mission due to a new wiring kit and questions on if the amp works) Get the bloomin' thing fixed by a very nice person or c) find a replacement Bose HD (which I'm really struggling to find one) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This thing is driving me insane!!! Thanks everyone!
  9. I got Kuro Black. Its only done just under 20k miles so its pretty much a brand new car. I can't wait to pick it up!!!
  10. This morning I went to see a 350Z GT4 and fell in love with it! I'm a new owner of a Nissan 350z GT4....Whoooooo hoooooo!!!!!
  11. I've just bought number 160 in Kuro black! I've fallen in love with it!!!
  12. Well I saw it and it was really nice, but had really bad corrosion on the alloy's which was dissapointing. It also had some pretty bad scratches which I wasn't happy about. Anyway I've seen a GT4 for sale which I'm going to go and see tomorrow. Watch this space!
  13. Thanks for the tips guys! I'm off to take it for a spin tomorrow morning so I wanted a few quick pointers. I shall be spending lots of time of the forum this weekend to find out some more info on the Z. I can't wait to get behind a wheel of a beautiful 350Z and to say that this car is mine! I'll let you know how I get on with it!
  14. Hi guys. Well I've found a 350z advertised and it looks pretty sound. I'm hopefully going to see it on the weekend and take it for a spin. Here are the details: £11,750 2005 (60K miles) Kuro Black GT New MOT New Rear Discs New Service New Tyres FSH 2 previous owners It has all the toys such as leather, electric pretty much everything and what you would expect from a pretty sound 350z Now the questions! What do I need to look out for? Do you reckon this is a good deal even if I do get a few quid off? Looking at others around the same mileage and age, it looks OK I think. How much does it cost for a usual yearly service and how frequently do you suggest I have it done? What kind of tyres are the best to get? Sorry for all the questions! Fingers crossed it'll be a good'n Thanks guys!
