  1. If you check the "How To Guides" you'll see Mods have posted my guides from my "progress thread" to help others. I didnt design or come up with the mod, yes my car was used by my brother. I wouldnt have a clue were to start with something so complex. Feel free to try yourself but I couldnt make it work. Alex
  2. Not sure if you read the above post...When I spoke to the mods in the past I agreeded to stop posting on the forum about the mod. I have stuck to this and people have approched me. Without sounding rude or direct everyone talks you up big with electric's etc on the fourm and you seem to have a forward view on this. Why dont you make the mod and post if for free? All will be well then and people wont offer to pay us for what we have achived. Alex
  3. The thread is aimmed directly at me. My brother and I first designed the mod to "Auto fold the mirrors of key remote" after a thread on this fourm with a list of 30-40 people asking for this mod. The thread had been running for a couple of years and no one on the fourm could seem to figure it out. Every member on the list had money waiting because another member claimed they had made it possible. The first member never came up with a solution and never posted again on the forum regarding this. I posted all the info and images I understood on the forum at the early stages (this wasnt a geart deal if you didnt understand wiring and I don't) for anyone to see and help them with the mod. My brother took my car apart and together we sorted the wiring to make it happen. I then wrote a how to guide with images etc etc and offered it to the people on the list for a donation/fee of £10. Some members requested they wanted the mod and where willing to pay. Plenty of member were happy to pay the £10, there happy with the quality mod, info and time I have offered. They now have folding mirror as requested and I have 100% positive feed back. The forum "Mods" contacted me and recommened if I plan to use the forum to keep pushing my mirror mod I should pay and sign up as a trader. I explained I'm not a trader I dont have a company and I agreed to stop pushing the mod on the forum. Over the last couple of months members have approched me via pm asking if they can have the details. I have explained that other members have paid and its only fair everyone does. I havent pushed the mod myself, members have found me and wanted the mod. I have posted on the fourm after members have fitted the mod and are happy "Well done, glad your happy". I spend time and effort to help all members on the forum via my "progress thread" and advise were I can give it. Read the thread and many member are happy with the effort that it takes etc. I dont have any issues with the mods or other traders and I understand every one wants the mod for free. This mod has been about for months now and eveyone on the fourm knows its possible to achive what everyone wants. All someone has to do is figure it out, everyone know it needs two relays and a microswitch from the first images I posted. When someone can be bothered to put the effort in my brother did there wont be this issuse with members wanting the details and happy to pay for them If a mod would like to send me a pm with a contact number on I will talk to anyone to try and sort this. Again the member conatced me for the info I didnt post or chase anyone for anything. Cheers mate for pointing out the "first member with knowledge" didnt come true with the goods. I guess your calling me the muppet lol ? I honestly don't understand how you can call it a "backyard" mod when you dont understang how it works. I'm guessing if you did you would have posted it by now right? I havent charged everyone only the people who think the mod is worth the £10 lol. Theres no knife making anyone buy it. everyone has the option to say no thanks. How's the Honda? Alex
  4. Haha, best to get it sorted if you do have an issue...I've checked Hamsters and his is the same so its defo not just mine. Alex
  5. Evening Ekona, I dont have any stamps and they have still paid.. I did say I would start the world's smallest war if it wasnt covered lol. I said "even if the first (3rd year) stamp was done theres nothing to say the perforation hadn't stated afterward". I also pointed out the fact the dealer wouldnt have pulled the seal back to check under there unless there was an on going issue. Alex
  6. Just a quick updated for the people with the same problem. I havent had any Body and Paint stamps in my service book and the car is 2004 with original paint. Nissan have paid for the work to be carried out, I have attached some image so you can check yours. Alex
  7. work of art mate well impressed. I had to slot mine between the bumer and front panel cause its the Cusco one and it looks bigger. I think my brother has the same one as yours.....were they off ebay? Alex
  8. Keep the mods coming mate, looks like a nice Z...I'm keen to see how the leather work come out in the end... Alex
  9. Well I wen back to Autoglass today and they removed the side trim...There coming to cut the screen out a week tomorrow. Alexz
  10. Emm thats strange, what screen do you think it should have mate? My partner has the Honda Civic Type S (2009) and this cake fitted with a Pilkington front screen of the production line. Autoglass have also fitted a Pilkington screen in mine, this doesnt worry me though because there one of the world leaders in vehicle glazeing. I dont think Honda will make there own glass, more likley just rename another manufactures glass. Either way the rear veiw shouldnt be vibrating lol and I hope you get it sorted soon man. Why the change to the Honda? Alex
  11. From what Ive read and understaning out one tuning/engineering books to feel the gain you need an increase of 10%ish and that in my eyes isnt possible from breathing mods alone... Alex
  12. Haha, this is what I thought...I'm a great believer in face to face. I'll pop back in tomorrow and let them know I want it cutting out and moveing over to the left. I'm sure it will be fine as they offer life time warranty while you own the vehicle or so I've heard lol. Alex
  13. I agree with the whole silver thing... My advise would be to driver them all and decide yourself mate.
  14. When I bought my car last year it had a stone chip in the front screen. Part of the agreement of buying the car would be the chip getting fixed at there expense. When I went to collect the car I jumped in and came home, as I showed my new car off to the better half I noticed the screen didnt look any different. I'm no expert at glass repairs so I popped it my local glass company (owned by my cousin) and he assured me the chip hadnt been repaired. The company I bought the car off after a few loud voices agreeded to cover the excess cost of my glass cover £75. Autoglass who replaced the screen said the chip was to close to the A pillar and the screen would crack if repaired. I was happy knowing a new screen was coming my way and no cost. A few months after fitting I noticed the passengers side inner A pillar trim didnt fit very good as you could see the edge of it from the outside of the car. I removed the inner trim and fitted it back and it was the same. I just thought oh well, I recently took my car to Nissan for a warranty claim and they asked for the chassis number. When looking at the screen I noticed I could no longer see it through the inspection hole in the screen laminate. The more I looked at the screen the more faults I could see, the laminate (black band around the screen) wasnt equally matched at one side to the other. I went back to Autoglass this afternoon and the chap told me they screen can't be 6mm out as I though measuring of the external trims. He said the screen fitter doesnt have any trims on the vehicle when fitting the glass (like we all know) so they go off the A pillars for measurement. He said there isnt enough room either side to be 6mm out. I came home this afternoon and whipped the side trims off to see this... Good side...you cant see no inner trim here and theres more laminate. The side you can see the inner trim and less laminate. Trims removed, check out the distance of the screen from the roof edges. It looks to me like 6mm ish... Other side trim removed, the screen is over hanging the roof edge by about 1mm. Check out the curved section of the a pillar and you can see theres a diffence between the sides. What you guys think... Alexz
  15. I told a porkie I have more 2508 points lol..might be worth a phone call to see what I can get back...
  16. Don't forget your clubcard points I've collected 858 so far this month and will get a money off voucher for £8.50...yay... I have a V-Power card with nearly 1300 points on it but Ive never recieved anything. I selected the vouchers on the V-Power website in my account and everything. The local Tesco's is 2 mins drive from my house but it still supplies the 97ron rather than 99...although for the 10 months ive owned the car ive used V Power for 8 and Tesco for 2 and cant tell any differnce in feel or consumption but Tesco is cheaper. Alexz
  17. Evening mate, to be honest I havent had the need for one since I started riding with a new group of lads. They have vans and the others have racks so I just chip in with the fuel ..... Sorry I wants much help... The best looking rack I have seen is the Boofsquire but I cant find it in the UK, looks like you buy the frame then the attachments you need for your sports. The straps are short and theres good padding where the frame meets the car. http://boofsquire.com/ Hope this helps. Alex

    Wheels Nuts

Hi, I'm looking at buying some after market wheel nuts and wondered if anyone knew what pitch I should buy or can there be cross reference to any other vehicle If I look second hand? Thanks Alexz
  21. Haha, mate I just dont like them...not to sure why just dont appeal to me. I'll maybe swap mine for a stubby at the next meet just to have another look... Alexz I do have a couple more mods in the pipeline I just need to get hold of them... Alexz
  22. After reading that thread.....Tesco's it is lol...I use it now but I'm sure the pump says 97... Alex
  23. To be honest mate if Nissan is easy for you just use them. I buy all my service gear through Nissan (although I get 25% discount through work) and I've never had a problem yet. There fully synthetic oil is fine, lets be honest they have spent millions in researching the engines and choose there oil supplier lol. I havent used them for service labour but there parts department have always been good for me. The other way of looking at it is, if there is a problem you take it back, if you cause the problem you have to pay lol... Good luck with the tune up mate.
  24. Ok finally got round to fitting the L.E.D at weekend. You can fit the l.e.d with the bumper in place. Just whip the drivers lamp out and follow the steps below. Alex
  25. This is mint....another top job Paul... Alexz
