  1. Im fairly sure it will not fit a facelift. Thats why all lips are either 03-05 or 06-08. Different contours.
  2. The V2 is very nice, and i am tempted. But what would you do about the washer jets for the HIDs? The V2 bumper has no space for them and i bet the contour of the bumper would not be the same as the OEM either, so you would not be able to retro-fit them. Does this not cause an MoT fail?
  3. I know of many Fidanza flywheels which have not fitted correctly by less than 1mm (common issue with Fidanza). It is very simple to re-hone the holes, and it makes no difference to the balance what so ever! Tell them to stop moaning and just do the job. It will be fine.

    Audi A5

Well im not suprised. The Audi A5 came bottom of the 2009 'new car warranty' reliability tables. Owners have reported significant electrical problems, infact alot of german cars were at the bottom, not a single one in the top 10. Whilst at the opposite end of the scale, the new Honda Accord came in #1 with 99.5% of its models fault free.
  5. Looks cool, but TBH i think they are abit too crystal. The OEM clear ones look better if you can source a genuine JDM or USDM rear right indicator and then simply replace the existing foglight bulb with an extra bright silver tipped red LED bulb. So you get the 100% clear look, and retain the red foglight without any re-wiring. There is a write up on the forum for it, and thats what i did afew weeks ago. Evens the rear end out nicely and still looks OEM.
  6. I can vouch for Zmanalex service, it is superb
  7. 39 is the best i have got out of mine on a small run, and that was driving like a total pussy! But i havent reset my average mpg for about 6 weeks now, and it just stays between 21-22mpg on 99ron V Power. Its not possible to keep it in the 30s around town.
  8. That looks so much better!! I will look into this when i have some spare time, or contact Paul ^^^ How much do you charge to carry out the reflector mod, and can you guarentee the light is sealed up properly again afterwards?
  9. An excellent victory on a demanding circuit. So glad to see him back on the podium! Let's hope it continues for the remainder of the season.
  10. PCD is the same. So yes they will fit, but spacers will be needed as the offset is totally different.
  11. I guess its rare & looks nice, but not £580 + £40 delivery nice. I don't know how these companys justify these prices. It was never this expensive for lip kits on Honda's. Just because it's a 350z they bump the price right up Not cool.
  12. Yea i agree Texaco fuel is utter shite. I was forced to use it one time in my tuned Prelude and it felt horrible after, it really didnt like it at all. As soon as i got V Power back through it was smooth again. Texaco is bad stuff. I live around the corner from a V Power garage so i am lucky in that sense.
  13. Well if the 350z ecu is anything like the Renault ECU which basically uses the same engine, then it is very capable, especially of being turbo'd etc...as they do it all the time on the Renault forums with no issues on the OEM ECU....
  14. Well with regards to mine, TBH i dont know what to say, as there is nothing really wrong with it, i mean it seems to run fine and everything, just the hissing fuel pump thing i get sometimes after a good run...and i use V Power fuel only. It could just be the way it is, i mean it's not as if every VQ engine is exactly the same tolerances, so you have to take manufacturer figures with a pinch of salt. I trust the dyno i used, because it has been spot on with all my other cars. As i say, my only excuse was that it was very warm, but meh, either way, i can't mend what isnt broken...
  15. As per title, i have a set of 03-05 OEM tail lights for sale, and RH rear fog/indicator unit. The simple reason is that i have now replaced my tail lights with the 06-08 LED versions, and i have done the clear JDM/USDM rear indicator conversion. All parts are in perfect working order and condition. Tail lights £65 delivered (Pair) UK rear fog/indicator unit £20 delivered
  16. Yes, i would agree. Their reason for keeping the bonnet down is that you wouldnt drive around with your bonnet up, so why do a dyno with it up, they think that it is a fairer test, but nevermind. They do have a huge fan in front of the car, but still like you say, it's not like the real world. My Pop Charger filter was probably soaking up the heat long before they even got a correct run due to the traction issues. The car does feel good, it pulls clean away from my freinds 330 Club Sport and Audi TT 225 like no tomorrow, and it isnt a mile away from my mates E39 M5 either, so it can't be too bad
  17. I thought so aswell, doesnt look like it will fit the DE engine?
  18. Does the MotorDyne plenum spacer require tuning to see benefits, or is it a bolt on mod which will just work?
  19. Ok, well i had the 350z rolling roaded today on a Dyno Dynamics, (in warm conditions mind), and it got 261BHP/213WHP & 247ft/lbs Torque, and the AFR was between 12-13 the entire run. Only mods include Nismo Cat-Back and JWT Pop Charger. It is a fair bit less power than it should in 'theory' be making standard. It has had new plugs and new oil recently, seems to drive fine, so not entirely sure why it is down where it is, or is this fairly normal for a 2003 model with 60k? Maybe the fact that it is a warm day, they kept the bonnet down, and it did suffer severe heat soak due traction issues on the dyno (they couldnt get the rear tyres to grip and stop wheel spinning which delayed it for about 20mins before they even got a correct reading!). So i'm not entirely suprised by the result, and i did say it would be around 260 before i went lol, so i am not disappointed by it, but i would of liked it to be more you know..? Is there anything i can do, or should i resign to the fact that this is simply how it is...? Maybe on a cooler day and less heat soak it could see between 270-280hp? Graph:
  20. As in title, any colour doesnt matter, aslong as it isnt cracked or warped. I don't mind scratches. Thanks.
  21. Mine is the same, the part that is nearest to the windscreen creaks constantly! It drove me insane!! The only way i could remedy it was to wedge a tiny peice of rubber in-between, but push it right down so its 99% out of view. No more creaks! lol
  22. Sunset, I hardly think it is under the belt, it is not a personal criticism, and an Admin was made aware at the time of me posting the reply on the forum. All i care about is the item in question, which was advertised publically, and has the right to be disputed in the same fashion. IMO it was a reserved statement and most certainly not a ‘personal attack’. This is a public for sale item, it was sold in public view, so therefore any discrepancy with the item may be made in public view, that is all. I am a very experienced body repairer & sprayer, and i have fitted many aftermarket fibreglass kits before, and without a doubt, this is one of the worst moulds i have come across. The pinholes and fabrication defects can easily be fixed, but I’m sorry, but there is no amount of trimming that can be done to make these fit perfect, as that is not the solution. The mould itself is not right, the top corner does not bend round flush neither does the contour, this can only be cured by a more accurate initial mould. To someone who maybe cares far less about quality and fitment, they would not have a problem with these, but from my experience and knowledge, i know better. This is not aimed at anyone personally, it is a direct complaint about the authenticity and quality of the item. Anyway, it appears Austin is willing to take them back in refund of the £60, which is very good of him, so i am more than happy to take him up on that offer and will pursue that via PM. As said, I will also remove the defects and re-prime them tomorrow with a high build filler primer so that they are in a much better shape for him to send back to yourself if he so wishes.
  23. It is nothing personal, i do not have a major issue with you, but the description was not full-telling, or be it maybe i should have asked beforehand? There was no mention of them being 100% fibreglass, no flexibility, lack of good fitment, and many fabrication defects despite them being primed at a bodyshop? (Not sure why they left all the defects as that is not procedure). I have considerable ground to believe these are not Shine Auto spats, but as i said, i cannot prove that, and you do not know for sure either, so that is not really my problem, Shine Auto or not, they are quite poor. I’m sorry you feel i should have PM’d you, it is not my intention to embarrass you of any sorts, it is just so that any other future users would be aware of the product at hand. I think that is fair enough. I apologise if you feel undeserved of my last post. Yes, I would ideally like to send them back to yourself in return for my money back. It is not often a seller offers to take something back, and i appreciate the fact you are willing to do so, which shows you are being somewhat genuine. And as a small act of good faith i will take these to work tomorrow and i will remove all the defects and re-prime them with a high build surfacer so that they are in perfect condition for you to send back to the previous buyer. I will PM you when they are done to arrange things. Thanks.
  24. Thanks for the quick delivery, i got them today. But TBH i should have stuck to my instincts and gone with genuine USDM ABS ones, at least they would have fitted. I dont know if you knew or not, as you were not the original buyer of these, (but my suspicions are probably right as this will be the reason you punted them on). I have never seen the Shine Auto ones in person, but i know they are a hybrid material, and from what people say they are excellent quality and fitment, and if this is the quality of them, then it is shocking. These are not flexible at all and i am certain it is not a hybrid or composite material, this is 100% fibreglass (i work in the car body repair business so its easy to spot). This product is full of large pinholes and the fitment is extremely poor as i have just done a dry run with them, i would not even consider fitting these to a £10,000 car. I'm not going to ask for my money back, as i know i probably won't get it, but this is a very poor item sold with an inaccurate description (intentionally or not as he case may be). £60 wasted on my part
  25. Might be interested, but i was going to get genuines, how do these Shine Auto versions attach to the rear bumper? Do they screw on or stick on?
