it looks like someones just dropped amassive weight on a mini and squashed the roof, it just dont look right, they could of redesigned the rest of the body too, now people in the rear have even less head room than before! (and prob in the front!)

Oh and bumper removal, i have removed the undertray Is it literally just the 4 screws in the engine bay and the screw in each arch? (6 all together??)

They actually make much difference on n/a car though? £800 is a lot of money to shell out, on very little gains...... Surely a plenum spacer is more cost efficient?

Thats exactly what i suspected...... At least with stuff thats previously been fitted/painted it should be a good fit......

Well mines kuro black anyway, i emailed the seller before hand and he said good fitment, but possibly need a respray for it to look mint, which im kinda expecting anyway. And my old bumper is so full of stone chips, a respray was always on the cards.. So Im guessing i cant go too wrong for £87.... plus i can go and collect it, so save on courier (not my fuel either!) I mean these must be about £350 brand new? I think its an RS style bumper.... or a Top Secret V1 bumper? plus I would need to get it painted too then?

Well (to the relief of most people) The stickers are no more! They only lasted a week... I have destickered the car, apart from the chinese writing on the side.. much more subtle...

Well im no Royalist, but I watched the whole thing, and amazed to say, I was very interested by it all, and us as British citizens, should all be very proud of the event that took place today, the crowds were wonderful and polite, as were the authorities, all in all, looked like a thoroughly pleasant day, and as much as we think they arnt that important, they bring in huge amounts of revenue from tourists... I thought it was really good. Not much was said about the riderless horse bolting by the royal carriage by the cenotaph though!

Well in answer to the front lip, i actually took a chunk out of it in the snow....... on the drivers side corner...... Anyway, i drillled some holes in it, got some foam filler, made a template, fibre glassed over the top, rubbed it down, and rattle can sprayed it, laquered it etc... its not a bad job (ie the hole is restored) But the paint job is not the best, but for £20, i thought its an easy fix till i get a new bumper, im thinking v2, and yes stickers will be no where near it! I just added the stickers to hide the paint job, and fancied a bit of experimenting, as i say, stickers can always come off.... I appreciate the opinions anyway, i always do stuff thinking they may look ok, then sometimes it dont, and nice to have inputs to usually confirm what im thinking anyway! Dan

Ok, point taken with the stickers good thing is, they can just be peeled off as easily as they went on......

Just before I reveal the pics I would just like to say a Massive thank you to Cougar Store for sorting these wheels out for me Im totally in love with them and I think the look fantastic on the Zed. After many emails, communication was excellent, and delivery was very prompt, I couldnt be happier. Anyway here are some pics of my car, with its new boots on! (Some marmite stickers on there too, but they look ok to me for now, i may take them off later!)

Thats really not good at all.... Good to post up, as I have been on a number of stag dos, where the trend is to visit these eastern countries, as its good for cheap beer etc And I am sure there will be many of us on here, either been invited or going on a stag do abroad, to one of these countries... On the whole I feel welcome, however I always sense they really dont like the english, so your kinda a bit on guard anyway, which isnt great if your trying to relax and have a drink with your mates.... The most inimidating place we felt we went to was Riga in Latvia..... we wernt involved in any trouble at all, but i remember being in a bar where a girl walked up to me, and said "Where you from???" I said "England?" she replied with "We dont like you, you drink our beer and take our women!" We then returned to the Hotel, where a English rugby club were also staying, and their head coach promptly come over and warned us to watch ourselves, as 2 of their guys had been mugged, and they were big built rugby guys...... They get you in strip bars too....... all very welcoming, come in, sit down, have a drink...... a girl may approach you, have a chat, and a drink with you, you get up to leave and goto pay, to be told its £300........ that "chat" cost you £200, and the drink £50, one for you and one for her (even though you had no idea you were paying for hers).... And if you have not got the money, the bouncers then nicely escort you to a cash machione where you can withdraw it, before letting you go..... After hearing that story, we just stuck to the bars!

Well About a boy who falls in love with a 240z i think, (the devil z) which has already claimed a few victims, find its at a scrapyard and does it back to its former glory and attempts to race the blackbird (porsche 911) Bit fast and furious ish, a few nice jap cars, only finished number 6 so far........
