  1. Interesting. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/92327
  2. Hamilton will bounce back from the last two races, he will learn from them and in a month or two it will be all forgotten and everyone will be saying what a fantastic driver he is again. A month is a long time in motor racing!
  3. Lewis was much quicker at that point and had much better drive going onto the pit straight, i thought he had every right to go for an overtake at that point! Whats he supposed to do take his foot off the throttle and just follow when clearly he had much better momentum and drive? I accept Hamilton drove a stinker in Monaco and was an idiot but it seems that he is to blame for every incident know if he is involved, he's a racer and thats what they do go for the overtake! At the end of the day it was a racing incident. Obviously the media wont see it that way because they need a story to write! Anyhow Button as accepted the blame . Anyhow fantastic win by Jenson just happy to see Vettel beaten. Button explained that he had taken the blame for the coming-together during a two-hour break forced by heavy rain at the Montreal circuit. "I couldn't see anything when he came alongside me. I couldn't see anything in my mirrors, it is just one of those things and I have apologised to him," said Button.
  4. For once i agree with EJ about the race should never have started under a safety car, no where near bad enough for that!
  5. 3 incidents being investigated...... two of which were after he tried to take his team mate out. .................... But surely the other two incidents were comitted before? The first one regarding his speed when the safety car started the race (which Button also exceeded) and the incident with Webber After watching the Le Man 24 hour race F1 is rapidly becoming a tarts sport! "Ooh it raining again we cant have the worlds best drivers racing in that"! :edit: though i now accept its too bad

  7. +1 Was a corker! How lucky was the cameraman walking away when that wheel bounced behind him? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jnibRyrK-o
  8. The things i am missing that i am no longer a mod! Oh well back to the pool.!
  9. Martin can you please remove my name from the list. Now working sorry and have other issue's to deal with. Will make the wrist bands available to you before the event.
  10. But re-passed by a great overtake by Hamilton a few laps later Anyhow if he was up for it or not, i am afraid the car was not As for Hamilton his race was over on Saturday afternoon, but agree his attempted overtakes on Massa and Maldonado were stupid as was his mouth afterwards Lewis will bounce back in Canada and like last year i predict a return to winning ways. Anyhow in other news. Pirelli wants Formula 1 teams to be prevented from changing tyres if a race is stopped by a red flag. The tyre manufacturer said Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix was robbed of a thrilling climax after a stoppage caused by Vitaly Petrov's accident allowed the front three drivers Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button to change rubber. This effectively turned the result into a foregone conclusion, with the top three cruising to the chequered flag in a procession.
  11. +1 And last nights match was confirmation that we will never see England win the world cup in our life time.
  12. Looks like i am going have to chase some of the non-payers
  13. Approx £830 rich And I still need to pay. Let me know your email address Dave.
  14. Good point about sectioning off the car park, i am quite sure this is something that can be arranged for next time
  15. Yup that's the one Chris but had just edited my previous post with the same location Yes and backed up against the wall facing the transit
  16. Just for reference if anyone does not know, the van was somewhere between point A and B http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&sourc ... 2&t=h&z=17 And the very spot where the van was parked http://maps.google.com/maps?hq=http:%2F ... 53,,0,3.39
  17. No good complaining the Welsh dont give a toss what you or i think of them. I remember a few years back when i opened up the caravan after winter in Porthmadog, they set up a camera van on the good friday (easter break) and welcomed the tourists back who will massively boost the local economy by fining 400 of them (400 x £60 = 24000) on the road to the caravan park at Morfa Bychan! I dont wish to insult the welsh members but i think the local police go slightly doolally after been locked up all winter long with nothing more to do than shag sheep and play tiddlywinks, that once they see the first sign of life after the winter they make up for it by fining every tom, dick and Harry in sight to make up for the shortfall during the winter months! I used to complain massively to them when i used to go there quite a lot but have since sold up.
  18. I wonder how many more of us will be getting a letter soon. Hopefully none of us. However if they are doing people at 35MPH, then quite a few might have strayed around that number F'in shocking if you ask me, that camera had nothing to do with safety as it was on the way up to a national speed limit section of road Luckily i was leading the convoy at that point and was below 30mph at the time due to slow traffic infront of me so would be surprised if anyone got caught at the time. I did quickly relay the message to Colin further down the field just after.
  19. +1 and now we know for sure where to send the money as it will get doubled +2 EXCELLENT!!
  20. The van was placed right opposite the police station in Corwen right where the speed limit changes back to national speed limit Also it was parked in a "stone alcove" with the back end of the van parked right up against the wall so that you could not see the back of the van and its markings! ****ing sly bastards if you ask me
  21. Bit concerned about that first non-payer on the list I have paid all the postage to date
