  1. I've always wanted to get into stocks and have a wee flutter. A mate mentioned setting up an isa trading account with my bank and trading through that?(RBS) no idea if its good or bad. Never knew where to look before really. So anyway as im waiting for my username coming through the post i've been reading up on where to invest some pennies. Im not gonna put loads of money in, maybe £100 in one stock and £100 in another. Its a start! So i've been through all the pages on this thread, what an exciting ride for RRL!! So i see you guys expect it to rise by the end of the year, would you think if its not gone up that much more at the end of the week it would be a good investment? What about banks? RBS are on abit of a low at the moment, can only go up really. I'll be looking at long term and short term investments, RRL for short and RBS for long?
  2. Jeez, i go away for a little bit and the only thing im useful for get posted up when im away. Anyhoo, you dont need to wash the walls down unless they are sticky or you're a smoker. Fill the cracks up but dont worry about hairline ones. Usually it takes 2 coats but depends on how differnet the colour is, dark colours are easier to cover light ones, so 2 coats will be plenty(depending on how thin the paint is) but trying to cover a dark colour with a light one could take(hopefully 2) 3 or 4 coats. Dont bother about buying any fancy paint like Farrow and Ball or Fired Earth for example, as they are over priced and will give the same finish as Dulux paints. Most paints are made by Dulux and Crown anyway and if i remember correctly, Dulux even own Crown too. The best paint to use is Dulux Trade(thats what i usually use at work), better than the fancy paint and the normal Dulux paint, but then again, their isnt much in it. So normal Dulux is good enough for DIY. Stay away for cheap paints though as they can have a reaction when you go to paint over it down the line. Outside paint...well thats different. If you need anymore help then send me a PM
  3. Dear Tech Support, Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0. In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as: Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as: NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1. Also, Conversation 8.0 no longer runs and Housecleaning 2. 6 simply crashes the system. Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do? Signed, Desperate. DEAR DESPERATE , First, keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system. Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6.2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5 , Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Please note that Beer 6. 1 is a very bad program that will download the Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta. Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.) In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program, These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7. Good Luck! Tech Support ...and why not this too and this one too, slightly the same but i burst out laughing at the '10 new ways...' Been awhile since i was last on so i'll start off by posting my usual rubbish here.
  4. MAN! I'd LOVE a set of B&W speakers. They are just awesome. got my projector about 4 months back n still havent gotten round to getting an av reciever or speakers. just had it plugged into my pc n watching movies through that, with the amazing 2.1 speakers hahaha

  6. As much as i have been avoiding this subject, i felt the itch about a 2 months ago...dont have the zed anymore!!! Was needing more seats, more mpg and just something that would save me money. So about 2 weeks ago i got myself something...different...a diesel...5 seats and from what other people have come up to me and said "a better looking car than the zed" personally, i dont think that but ive been very surprised with the reaction. ...just sounds like a tractor crappy pic, but you get the idea so its its a mitsubishi lancer 2.0d-id gs4 version. leather seats all round, 30gb touch screen music server with sat nav n aparently dvd player. pretty much looks like an evo (so much so my friend along the road who has an evo has been goin about telling people i have an evo). saving over £500 a year on insurance, about £100 on road tax. i get between 40-50mpg, put £40 of diesel in when i got the car, still have enough for another week! so 3 weeks on £40 of diesel, SWEET! i was going through about £80 a week in the zed. I do miss the zed, but right now in my life this is exactly what i need. once i've settled down i'll get a sporty thing again. Plus, if i was keeping the zed, i was needing 2 front new tyres, road tax, electric window was needing fixed, im sure there was some more. cant remember right now. Sadly though im gonna stick around here. Dont fancy starting a new forum called 'I Wish I Had An Evo Club'
  7. coming out alot quicker than i thought! i heard they were releasing this with natal n i also thought it was going to have a blu ray player in it, damn rumours!
  8. yeah mandie is very good. Still haven't gotten round to finishing mine. Costs quite abit, plus she usually has about 6+ months waiting list. Im sure the last time i phoned it was about 9 month waiting list. Getting the tattoo finished alone would be around £700-£800, plus i'd need money for traveling down n up and staying in a bnb a few nights. Its just money i dont have these days. i've been tempted to get it finished off by a guy in kirkcaldy, but i dunno, different artists have different styles, might look totally different. So i'll have to start putting money away. i've been dying to get it finished for years now!
  9. I was once doing 80mph on a motorway, next thing i seen were flashing lights in the mirror. There was no way i was letting the fuzz catch me, so i put my foot down! As soon as i reached 88mph my car was engulfed by a VERY bright flash of light. Stright after looked in the mirror, no police, strangly enough no other cars either. I stopped, got out and looked around. Their was no motorway! It was at that very moment i realised i had gone BACK IN TIME I didnt get any points or any fine since i was never caught, but i did get stung by a nettle. How i got back? well thats a story for another time.
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7CPfiDLVYQ Nuff said.
  11. i had a rex before the zed! lets just say i only had it for 6 months haha. looks mint on the inside and was a great car to drive! BUT! it wasnt for me and at the time wanted something different. The zed it quicker off the mark and feels faster than the rex. you should average about the same, maybe a little better mpg in the zed, plus you'll save loads on fuel since the rex drinks it! Besides, drive about town in a rex, nobody looks, drive about town in a zed and people turn round and point. your face will actually hurt because your smiling so much haha.

  17. Ah, another year, another call of duty game. So they released a teaser trailer not too long ago and today(i think) they put up a gameplay video! personally i think it looks badass! always loved the single player games so im looking forward to playing this. Obviously since its got the 'Call of Duty' name in it mean its not been made by the guys who done MW2. So lets hope it wont fail as much as that!
