Yeah, ended up doing excatly that. One other thing tho, Sextons didn't send me the ICT fasia, but an Autoleads one instead. And it's the wrong one, but can't be arsed to send it back. Got the Autoleads FP-22-03, with is a single DIN with a pocket below to fill the double DIN slot. Prolly phone the order instead of online, just to make sure I get the right thing. Might have to take it apart again for fitting the facia and might also connect up the steering wheel controls too, because the instructions that cane with it mention an orange/silver lead, which I cannot find. Could someone post a pic of the wires they tapped into for the steering wheel controls? Much appreciated.

In comparison, I have spoken to local Raccoon Centre and was quoted a rough figure of £150 or thereabouts for vinyl wrapping the roof. So compared to a sprayjob costing £180....prolly go for a sprayjob as the finish will be better

Some owners experience the gearbox noise after a lightened flywheel and uprated clutch upgrade. If your clutch pedal feels reasonably light, then that means that the upgrade has been done by a previous owner. When I had my P3 done at DMS, we decided to change the gear oil and diff oil. I have no noise on my gearbox. hope this helps

I had the tape spit when I did mt ghetto mod, but it setteled down, thus I didn't thought is was worth mentioning. It usually helps if some thing is playing on the tape adapter, because it seems to know if any music is played or not, hence if there is no audio on either side, it goes into tape puke mode

well you do get 4 bits but I can't see how they get to 50 quid apiece for a bit of machined ally and 5 bolts I decided against spacers altogether..... but then spent lots more on a set of wheels instead

As far as I know, it increases the sound level due to some Pioneer and Alpine units suffering from reduced volume after being installed.

Well after my ghetto mod, I stumbled on a bargain. Local Halfords had the ex-demo AVIC-F900BT for sale at £400. I told them I would like to purchase the unit and they grabbed all the bits that came with it and the box. Took to the checkout and the price came back as £350 (One might think it was fate, lol) Got home and gave her a clean with my aircompressor to get rid of all the dust and have been on Sextons Direct to order the following ICT 50-256 - Nissan 350Z Pre 06 Double Din or 2 x ISO ICT 29-674 - Nissan 350z Bose USC Loom ICT 29-020 - Sony/Pioneer 2009 head-unit lead ICT 23-007 - TURBO 1 Variable line driver That order should hopefully arrive in a few days so I can get cracking with the install. Just need to get a Pioneer iPod cable...

Buy the items, unpackage, repackage with lots of bubblewrap and then send off as gifts with a item value of no more that $107, thus avoiding customs charges. My bro has ordered many new items from the US that way and hasn't been stung by customs yet. If you are worried about sending high value items and them getting lost and you not being to reclaim the full value off insurance, well that's a risk you gotta take.
