Nice car but you can get them much cheaper Oh and a wee tip- join the other skyline forum if you do end up with one G35 and s15 off the list? S15s tend to be a bit more expensive and g35s tend to be autos

Personally if I had a project or weekend car I'd always want manual and for a daily I'd want auto but drive it cos you never know What options are you seriously considering now the vx is away?
  3. I thunk hes shocked at the price but if that Capri hasn't been driven after 9 months and only 6k miles on it, as immaculate as it is I'm not surprised it's going for that much Not everyone would pay that but not everyone will be looking for a classic like that. It does look mint
  4. Unbelievable... Big contrast to the helicopter incident a few days ago. Just goes to show you when your times up your times up Where was this plane crash?

Get yourself onto skyline owners mate and have a look at the 34 GTT projects Like the 33s, non GTRs don't look anywhere near as good as GTRs in standard guise but with the right kit they can look awesome. I bought my 33 already modded, changed the front bumper and wheels and it's a totally different car. Sell the parts I take off and use it for further mods. Who said recycling is boring
  6. Many people keep the original parts and return the car to standard before selling and sell the aftermarket bits. Others sell the standard bits and sell the car modified as it's less hassle but you won't make your money back as they generally don't add value
  7. I can't see from the pics clearly cos I'm on the phone but apart from replacing/repairing the rear bumper and n/s rear wing, refurbing the wheels, geometry setup, sort the speedo and gliptone the seats what else needs done? Surely a grand is more than enough to sort that If it's a track/drift project it could be worth it to someone if it stays below 3k
  8. My wife told me about this, terrible shame watching the footage of the scene I was walking there a few days ago right by the door of the venue. It's literally yards from the river Clyde couldve been a different scenario if it fell in there Neil you mentioned it wasn't loud- listening to an eye witness account on BBC website he said the engine was spluttering and rotars weren't turning that's why it was quiet. Couldve been worse if they were turning
  9. Saw this on 5th gear earlier

All they need is the right stance and the right wheels. One of the few cars that doesn't need a bodykit Browse google images

Clubsport e46 is a good shout, nice cars How about an r34 gtt? Not sure how cheap they go for nowadays Or a supra? I know what you mean about g35s but when done right they look great. And it's the simple, clean looking ones that look the best

The g35 is a great shout- but they come in 2 doors as well as 4. Think of it as a zed with rear seats Tegs are great cars but more track orientated so not that comfy for every day but coming from a vx it will prob feel like a bentley What's your budget?
  19. Nice work as always tim but don't you muss the reflection shots when doing matt/satin cars? That's how you judge a detail but with these cars there's less to show for all that effort Love the satin paint jobs available on the m3s
  20. They look great on black Iv always said anthracite wheels look better than black on a black car there's the proof
  21. Your right about losing detail on black but with the right colour accents and the right mods you can really change the look of the car If I ever got another project car I'd go black just so I could go for bright green or purple calipers but all colours work well on black Red is done to death but it is always a safe accent colour option. This guy had red accents on his black BMW bumper, not sure if it would work on a standard zed though
