  1. I had mine done by Nissan under warranty in March, soon after buying it. (car is 05) its OK still at the moment but I have only done a 1000 miles or so since, so I guess not a real world test! Might be worth trying it, and see how it goes.
  2. its a while back now but i seem to think it was about the £200 mark. There is a discount though via the forum.
  3. I had this done to my Z earlier in the year, but by Paintshield. Watched them do part of it and it looks a bitch to do. The guys said the Z was one of the worst cars to work on. They made a great job though, but even they took about 4 hours ! (just for the bumper)
  4. I complained to our local council about this too. Tried to explain why it was a bad idea to leave loose stones all over the place, but i think the guy wasnt listening. They claimed it needed doing as the road had failed a "skid" test. Told him that the road was in a far worse state now, stones all over the place and no white lines, but he wasn't interested.
  5. Hi,. I used the people you have linked to. Its the indoor version for the Z though. No complaints at all. It fits really well, is soft on the paint, and packs away into it's own bag. Hope this helps.
  6. Nice one! Many thanks for the speedy reply.
  7. After the last time I waxed the car, I have used a quick detailer a few times. My question is can I add another layer of wax over it, after its next wash? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Craig.
  8. I have a 2.4 Alfa 159 JDTM as well as the Z. 200 BHP and the same torque as the V8 M3 ! it even sounds good being a 5 cyl. Not great on fuel though (for a Diesel) only usually 32/33 mpg and have seen as low as 20 average !!
  9. Great pics. Really do like the look of the Evora. It even looks a bit GTR like from some angles. (or am i mad)? Did see a few Z's in the car parks. (went for the full three days).
  10. Well, car looked fantastic mate. Really stood out from the skoobs ! I headed back before the weather broke, glad I did I bet its a mudbath later.

  12. Just a few pics from today. Some v nice motors around. Did spot one 350Z, Azure, huge wheels, non OEM rear lights. looked good, anyone here?
  13. Finally got the weather and time to give the Z a full on detail today. Wash, clay, wash again, dry, sealant and then wax. All Chemical Guys stuff
  14. Its not very direct, but it can be a good run if not too busy. From brum on the A38 head out through Lichfield, A515 through Yoxall, onto Sudbury, and to Ashborne. A515 towards Buxton, A5270 via Chelmorton, Millars Dale, Tideswell. Bradwell, Bamford, (A6013), then A57 towards Sheffield, then A61 to Barnsley. Hope this helps !
  15. Got two also, great price, great service!

  18. Peak district side of Derbyshire here. if you guys are ever in the area drop me a PM, would be good to meet up for a spin.
  19. Just gave the car a really quick clean. Finshed with Chemical Guys quick detail spray. Really easy to use, great results. Just got done before the rain started. Then had to put it to bed!
  20. Snap! 8.1 L total too. 350z. 2.4 Alfa, 2.2 Saab. What's global warming?? Range Rover looks in good nick.
  21. Just wanted to say what a great job Paintshield made of my car on Friday. Really nice people. Great coffee, and even an office to work from for the morning whilst they did a superb job on the front bumper on my 350Z. Well worth the money. Many Thanks.
  22. K E R S is an electric boost system. I think it stands for Kinetic Enery Recovery System. Under braking energy is stored up, and on pressing the "boost" button it goes back out via an electric rotor (Motor)? on the gearbox. Apparently one BMW mechanic has already been electrocuted !!! Sounds fun eh
