What's the difference between the lamps in the 07 and the 06 facelift?

All in the name of internet fun! Are those figures for the 20bhp increase on the 370 accurate and confirmed? Because that sounds great, and certainly gives it a meaningful boost.

The logic is you're comparing second hand to new. Then in the same post referring to a 15k difference. Which isn't fair or logical, considering one is new and one isn't. When you're comparing 350s do you compare a 03 to and 05 and say well. Unlcuky, Pal. You just bought an 05 350z for 7k more than my 03 is worth. When there's zero difference between them.

I don't think it is. I see it all the time. It's not 15k better. But assuming you have a 2009 350z with 3 miles on the clock is it it's not going to be 15k different either...

Cmon guys. *Most* of the comments in here smack of some sort of jealousy. It's a new car. Brand new. It costs what the 350 did new. Of course it's going to cost 15k more if you're comparing it to a 15k Z. As it would be with any car! Suggesting that the interior is @*!# as well is just laughable. Maybe Im being harsh, but it just sounds like some 350 owners are trying to massage their own egos by convincing themselves that the newer model is @*!#, or has faults, not worth it etc. It's life guys. Something newer/better/faster, will always come out. There's no shame! It's funny. I've seen it with every car I've ever owned and plenty of others too, and it's always interesting to note that an unbiased viewpoint almost always votes in favour of the new model. I wonder why

Hey chaps. Firstly, does anyone know what's up with the search function. It never seems to be that useful, or intelligent? I've got a 06 facelift, and was wondering if there's a way to upgrade the HID system in there. Possibly for brighter lights, higher output bulbs? Can't seem to find much info on the forum. I few topics on lights, but search only seems to throw up chat on conversions and pre 06 cars. Can anyone shed any light on this for me. Indeed, if I was to at least need replacement bulbs what should I look for on autobulbs direct or similar? Thanks!

What i've found in the 350 and in my leon prior, is that the car slips, ESP/TC cuts power then I get grip back. Then, and only THEN does the light decide to flash like a spaz. Telling my I'm losing traction. NO @*!# SHERLOCK. Why don't you just send me a postcard: Dear Number86, You appear to have lost traction 4 days ago while driving like a tit. It's ok though. I've seen lots of posts about oil. But I can't seem to find a definitive answer. Try putting "oil" into the search bar. Comes up with NO results. Nadda, zip. Is 5w 30 or 5w 40 fully synth the recommended?

Well. I think it's a little OTT for my tastes. I'd like something like that, maybe maybe shrunk down 10%. I still however appreciate it looks bloody good, and almost OEMish in a way. Nicely done from what I can see in the poor quality pics. Well fitted as well. Looks tricky in those pictures! Certainly no Failside!

But it's pretty hard, as it's not a paintshop app, and only allows you to do graffiti type things! Scoured google for a suitable picture, and copied it from that. Also, as far as the existing sub, I think I'll give it a miss re-using that space, can the old one be removed without too much hassle, or does it just have to sit there idle?

Hey Chaps, Just bought my 06 GT a few weeks ago! Loving the car, absolutely HATING the turd of a system that's in there. Unfortunately, the free feature of skipping tracks on the CD doesn't seem to skip a whole track, just in the middle of the track and uncontrollably completely ruining the listening experience, with no way of turning it off. Some could call this a fault, I'd call it a feature *cough* So, I've been reading this sub forum for a bit, doing searches etc. I'm a bit of an idiot on this and it's really getting to my brain! After attempting to fit a sound system to my last car, giving up half way through and paying someone to finish, I'm not even going to attempt to do it myself again this time and I'm feeling a bit lost about what I should be looking at, and how I go about it. In a nutshell, my criteria is. New HU Touchscreen/screen great, but not essential. USB/Card reader/ipod/bluetooth phone support for iphones (as I understand you lose this) New front speakers New sub, is possible? I just want something that matches the colour scheme of the standard car lights, sounds good, and allows me to maintain use of a sub, bluetooth and adds memory card/iphone support! My requirements for sound quality are reasonably high, as I've always run modified systems in my cars. But I'm a realist in the Zee. It doesn't have to be amazing, I just want it to sound decent, as the bose/clarion is winding me up so much. The fact I've seen reviews of people saying how the Bose was great and the sub shakes your bones is just laughable! The questions getting to me are this: If I get a new HU, and use my amp from old car (where would it go btw?) do I lose use of the bose sub behind the seat? If so, I don't mind paying for a new sub, but would it slot straight in to the old space? Is it easy to use. Again, I don't mind paying, but not ludicrous amounts for custom fabricated boxes and interior panelling if that's what's required. Would fitters being savvy enough to be able to carry out the bose satnav hack? This is a biggy for me. I like the satnav and don't want to lose audio! Urggh, I'm lost! Help me guys. I think I've got round what I'd need to buy to compliment the HU upgrade (looms, steering control adapter and such) but everything else I'm lost on. On the note of fitting too. Anyone know any fitters in the SE area who are familiar with the Z? Sorry about the long post! Needed to get that all out! If someone knows enough to just say. Oi 86 you div. You probably want this HU, these front speakers and this sub, go to this guy and pay him £xx and your done. I'd give you oral favours and buy you a packet of dry roasted peanuts!!

I have bubbling too. I'm not overly worried. My old car had bubbling wheels for the almost 3 years I owned it. It did get worse, but not by any significant amount. If and when it gets to a point the wheels look awful it's a £200 refurb job. Unless of course Nissan finish wheels as well as Lexus do...

Ahah. Thanks! Not suprised to see Nurrish pop his head into a topic about satnav. I've seen your kit dude, it looks fab! I don't know why the satnav seems to get so criticism on here though. Apart from the lack of postcode search and relatively low resolution screen, it actually seems pretty effective to me (plus it looks nice ). I have wondered does it pull down traffic reports? Or does it use my phone connection for that. Weather forecast doesn't seem to work either way though...

Hey guys, I've been browsing around the forum (and making a few cheeky posts ) and saw something regarding the captain birdseye satnav. Which has raised a question. Does it come with a remote? As I don't believe I have one, and it wasn't something I knew to check for. The search doesn't seem to reveal anything else. Is there anything else I should be checking to see if I have or haven't got!? It's a 06 facelift GT Coupe. Thanks!
