I had a VTS and it was NOWHERE near as quick as my zed

Yes indeed, we removed the old wheels and fitted these, no other mods present on the car… Do you have the options/costs of them with tyres???

i did a direct access about 3-4yrs ago. Bought myself a one year old zx6r (636cc) and MY GOD it was insanely fast - you really cant believe until you experience it first hand just HOW quick you can go. Sold it after a year or so and bought a zx10r - same experience all over again = that thing was an animal! Bikeless now though (sold to save money and get mortgage) but would love to get another. I did ride like a bit of a prat with my mates and got chased a fair few times by certain men in uniform but there are SOOOO many unmarked cop cars now it's crazy! Great fun but risky for license and more importantly, life.

Me too - would love some but think they command a fair few dollars!

UPDATE: Went down to the stealership and the service manager looked at the car. He had the wheel off and spoke with his technicians etc. To cut a long story short...he agrees with me that the scratch was most likely not there when i brought it to them and agrees with me that it was there when i called him 25mins later when i got home. Therefore he reckons it happened on my way home (about 5 miles in rush hours traffic therefore very slow pace) by a stone or something getting caught between the wheel and caliper. What a load of toss - it is almost laughable so i wasnt very haoppy and made him aware of this! He said that he will look around for a quote to get it refurbished (not that he even would accept liability but suggested he may put some towards it, though would not commit to a figure ££). He rang me today saying that he couldnt find anyone who could match the brembo paint. Had no luck directly from nissan, they were trying to get him to buy a new caliper, on back-order, at £1200 each . So now he is waiting for Brembo in Itlay to get back to him with a paint code. Just get the feeling he is trying to fob me off but is there feck all i can do about it??? I aint happy.

This is absolutely silly!!! It's a panel filer so why would it matter if you just change the brand?? ie Nissan vs K&N?? Fair enough if something obvious like an induction kit etc but come on!! If people take this to such lengths then sure if you put ANY other tyre on the car (better grip = increased performance) then you invalidate your insurance too!!??? Does anyone out there have clear indicators? different bulbs? different reflectors? different head unit? different ariel? different number plates? different brake pads? etc etc i could go on. These sort of things people just replace and slightly upgrade over original but i bet do not disclose them as mods.

its not a little white lie its a big one, i think they call it insurance fraud technically yes - and i would definitely NEVER EVER EVER do it but how they ever gonna know if someone was sooooo stupid enough to claim this??

If you add on another driver (a woman for example that may never even drive the car) would it only be a white lie if you say they are the main driver? How they ever gonna know the difference?

I would imagine the contact points where the glass touches the window seals would need cleaning or lubing maybe? I wonder if there is any such product sold for this reason??
