So the theory of the ecu cancelling out any power "upgrade" is a myth then? It appears no-one can actually give a conclusive answer on this actual mod......

Yep what a dissapointment, Dorna better pull there finger out and quick because WSBK is kicking its arse in the excitement stakes! wait for the non biased ducati tracks imo.

I too would be very interested in peoples opinions on how this mod improves the car. Also, forgive my ignorance, but i read everywhere that the ecu adapts to modifications so that you cannot get any more power without piggybacking or changing the ecu totally. Why is this mod any different???

Yeah and there's no way there wouldn't be "in between" pics - ie, when the car was actually crashed! That engine looks salvageable though!

I must say - although a newbie - i have been reading a lot around the forums and as a potential 350z buyer, i find it absolutely ridiculous that you can't just re-chip the thing like the majority of other cars. Why the hell does the bloody thing "cancel out the mods"?

So what sort of cost is involved for say, basic red paint with white brembo stickers (lacquered over i presume?) with no pads?
