  1. The guy that was his mate was a guy I know's cousin so I am going to find out who he is and where he stays, one way or another he will be paying. Agreeing to the fellow zedder above I can't see you standing a chance on court without CCTV or eye witnesses. I am sure someone will have seen it happening. Ask around in the pub. But the guy who did it doesn't know it either....you can be very convincing if there is no CCTV around get in lad!!!
  2. The top one is advisory. You wouldn't get done for it anywhere. It's the one that causes most of the traffic jams! The M25 is a very dodgy motorway with lots of horror stories to be told Hope you didn't get done.
  3. Hi Alex! I am currently checking on size 8 bikinis in Greece..... Will speak when I get back Ps sorry for spamming the thread....just let me know where and when
  4. 28??? A wee bit low. Should be 35 psi +- 2 depending on how hard the tyres sidewalls are.
  5. I disagree with all of you. She had the most expensive car so she had priority! End of
  6. It smells like a sticky caliper to me...easy to detect. Remove caliper, check movement of pistons with brake fluid lid off, remove dust seals and then recheck piston movement. Washing the pistons with brake fluid and a brush always helps
  7. In regards to the sat nav a quick note....it doesn't accept post codes true. But apart from that it's excellent in the uk and in Europe. Very clear and fairly quick. I think the post 07 Models have a slightly different sat nav. It's a must have if you ask me. I ve got the alpine 900 with sat nav too and I hardly ever use it as the standard is miles better!
  8. They said i was too tense... A very professional way of saying your arms are too fat mate for me to find a well buried vein!
  9. Cannabis has never actually been proven to damage health, even MDMA and Heroin arent actually bad for you ......... Cannabis IMO is socially acceptable already as well, certainly in my experience It's becoming more acceptable you mean. Alcohol was illegal in the states many decades ago and I am sure some people at the time were saying kill the boozers etc etc. Now it's a custom in the uk and widely acceptable yet killing people every year. More people die from smoking related diseases and alcohol than road accidents yet measures are taken everyday day for excess speed but not smoking or alcohol! Some things are not illegal cos they are bad but because misuse could have serious implications to the society. Imagine 100.000 heroin addicts in a city....I am sure you can't....just think of hull!!! However I would be grateful if for serious comments like heroin isn't actually bad for you, you could refer to appropriate literature. Yes some drugs may have medical uses (cannabis, cocaine used to, growth hormone etc) but that doesnt mean they are not bad for you. Sometimes they do more good than harm. As I said before if somebody wants to do it keep it secret...same as if somebody wants to speed do it quietly... And as for the soldiers....my utter respect to the heroes and condolences to their families...it's a shame our society...me included as a member of it, is so bloody rotten....
  10. I don't quite agree with that analogy, drugs can inspire people to make good art/music, Yellow Submarine springs to mind or anything by Dali! Having a sports car doesn't make you a better driver. True. And many athletes use illegal substances as well. Keep it to yourself and make sure you don't get caught. If a 100meter sprinter gets banned for life for a certain substance same should be happening to the artists. They both perform, they both try for the best, they both gain advantage from using drugs, they both go for the record! (speech is an amazing thing isn't it ). And most important they are both famous and as such role models! If you are asking me about drugs in general I believe it's a complicated matter to be solved by us people posting here. Drugs don't kill people...they were legal at some point...abuse of drugs kills people and ruins lives. They became illegal to protect the freedom of the ones that don't use them from the ones that abuse them, without considering the ones that enjoy/control them. There is a reason behind this too but I can't type anymore on the stupid iPad grrrrr
  11. Reading mr chesterfields posts made me wonder whether he is in my head or not. Whether somebody wants to do drugs it should be his own personal issue. Make sure nobody knows as it's illegal! I think she should be tortured to confess where she got the drugs from and if she died in the process then at least she would have done something right in her life. She had a few decent songs but i am not fooling my self that she made history or something! And something else. It frustrates me so much excusing people for being weak. Bad childhood, messed up head etc etc.....I am not saying it doesn't affect people or being harsh or absolute. I could speak about myself....instead I ll say that there are people on this planet that bury their children who were starved to death and yet they still fight to stay alive and look after the rest of their family...they don't start injecting themselves or snorting! It's frustrating to see so many people wasting their lives....send them over to Ethiopia to do their drugs and let's get Ethiopian families here instead. Waste of space! Ps...I am great believer in natural selection....modern societies interfere too much in it.
  12. Get yourself an exedy clutch and a fidanza flywheel and you ll have peace of mind forever. As for the bearings and that they all make noise and rarely go wrong. Get used to it. However due to the frenchness of this engine the slave cylinder goes wrong very often. Make sure you always have a spare one with you as they are cheap. Having it fitted means that the gearbox needs to be dropped down by a bit. Very quick and easy job for an experienced mechanic....about 15 bolts later job done. Good thing about the slave cylinder is that it will give you indications like a sticky clutch pedal. If you keep an eye on the clutch fluid Levels you ve got plenty of time to take it to the garage.....usually Apart from that they are very bullet proof mate...I can promise you that
  13. As above! Neil the 050s are not great in the damp or slightly wet unless warm. They very good on wet and very wet. Plus I found that they are very resistant to aquaplaning too The ultimate however........pilot supersport....888s rebranded....and they can take a he'll lot of hammering
  14. I can confirm that on the 313 model. Was trying to start my BMW during the ice age last winter and I locked the revs at about 3k. Thought I knackered it....I almost had a heart attack
  15. Sorry I didnt saw this thread earlier. The 050As scuderia or specific for the zed are excellent tyres. However if you want the best out there there is only one. Pilot supersport at well over 1300 quid for all 4 corners and far better than mps2 and 050. If you ask me it's not worth the money...and I paid the money after 4000miles I got a flat rear and didn't quite notice for about 2 miles. Cut a long story short they cost me a further 800 quid for 2 new rears. Never again. I can live with a bit less grip. Ps performance wise however they are utterly superb. Almost similar grip to the 888s and excellent in the wet too. Very very soft sidewalls so steering not as precise as on the stones but very quiet. Only problem is that getting the car to lose grip now is a bit scary when dry
  16. During track days wear is fine even with 2.5 but on the road a camber over 1 degrees would be obvious on the inside. Hence the need for adjustable camber arms. Best thing is to have them fitted by a garage anyway if not confident enough
  17. True mate...i am not using a rear toe adjuster (camber can only go as low as 2.3) and then I adjusted the front camber to 2.5 too!! which was still fine for everyday driving etc etc. Thing is that if one uses his car only as a daily driver or posing machine then he probably wants the cambers close to zero and the maximum of the tyre life. I am sure you ve seen the shape of your front tyres after a couple of trackdays...fine on the outside and bold on the inside
  18. As above...nothing you can't do yourself. However, you can't get the rear camber spot on even with adjustable camber arms as it knocks the toe out which is far more important. For that matter pm zmanalex. You can change the snail bolts and a get a wider toe adjustment and the kit is cheap and easy to install apparently.
  19. There we are again...mine is bigger than yours I don't care who I overtake as long as I finish the track day with a massive grin on my face! I ve overtaken a 996 911 turbo and got overtaken by a little corsa...and? I love a hood down dry day at cadwell hitting the brakes hard from close to 130 down to 60mph and accelerate sideways back to 100...and I am sure I can do that better with the aids off...or I think I can anyway....and if I get intimate with a tyre wall so what? As I said it is an expensive hobby to do in a zed
  20. Hope you ll never need tissues for me Colin But Moreton had to re-stock the last time you were there!! Suppose you run out in your room too
  21. Hope you ll never need tissues for me Colin But you are right about the zed...and the aids and the 300bhp and the lot. It can be dangerous. However, it may solve loads of problems for people like me who like a hardcore track day. On a dry track day I get very frustated from the feel I get every time a wheel brakes by itself and my brakes overheat for no reason. Or the tyres, or the coilovers. It's only knowledge sharing that doesn't mean we say do it and kill yourselves round a roundabout We are not stig wannabes...just enthusiasts who like to enjoy their sports cars a bit more than just posing in it. It's a very very expensive hobby and I am sure the zed is not the right car for wannabes...it's more for the dedicated

    HSD Coilovers

Really sorry to interfere but I had kyb on my delta which were shite and now I ve got bilstein which are so and so. Does this make kyb better than bIlstein? I believe one can only rate coilovers on the same car....and of the same quality. Ie I had kw v1s on the zed which I changed for hks hypermax 3. The second comparing to the first were a few centuries ahead on every aspect but i would never say kws are worse than the hks as I didn't compare the v3s to the hypermax 3.
  23. I am gonna give it a go too....does it deactivate tcs and abs and the stupod stability control?
