  1. do they have a nice fit without need for spacers ? thanks...
  2. 67.42 litres of V-Power. But also record mileage for full tank of 446 miles due to frozen roads. (mind you I normally manage 30 mpg on my 60 mile round trip commute of A, B & C roads).
  3. a top product... good compromise between stock belt and full harness for fast road/track use.....
  4. I was running behind you... but you probably wouldn't have noticed unless you can pick out Zed headlights. Turbo badge on rear boot lid.... Had to admire the Zed ar$e - albeit a bit dirty like mine......
  5. a 1000 apologies for being in the list of shame... in-box sorted and PM sent to Jim. (I'm not here that often and it was only when I searched on 'Calendar' today thinking there must be a payment due soon - that I found my name in lights for all the wrong reasons.....)
  6. I'll take a set please at £100... will email now.

  8. I can't agree with a buddy if roof felt is a waterproof membrane or not on a tiled pitched roof ? Surely it can't be as the water would build up on the horizontal battens ? Yes it may be a last layer of defence, and probably gives a good wind defence - but not water/rain ? Googling... seems to confirm above... but not definitive as too many items, and most referring to flat roofs etc. thanks
  9. Hoping to tap in to the vast knowledge of 350Z-UK (and I believe there may be a few Financial advisers here.... Looking at options to take an early release from work, and if my investments on top of company pension can give me sufficient income... I've been in touch with a couple of advisors, who have the same proposal at top level, which is:- Keep cash and share ISAs as is - as most tax efficient - and shopping around, and/or giving them ISA ownership should realise circa 4.3% at this time. This would be approx 1/3 of my funds. The other 2/3rds put in an 'investment bond' - where my risk would be a balanced portfolio - giving medium risk. What I can't get at the moment is a clear expectation, say an average per year, or over 5 years what performance I would expect (% gain/loss). I know now I can take 5% tax free each year, but there's a 1.5% management charge (both cases) and I need a couple of % to increase bond to protect against inflation. Is 8-10% growth realistic at this time ? (and say next 5 years) or is this super optimistic ? Many thanks in advance for any pointers... of course the value can go up or down !
  10. Hi If it is this measurement you want... I just know that from the ground to the top of the wheel arch for road driving 605mm is good. On standard suspension, wheels and tyres, my measurement is; Front - 663mm. Rear 698mm.
  11. I had Plenum, Uprev + filter like you (plus brake lines etc) at Abbey.. Car will drive so much sweeter than the numbers suggest
  12. percentage score - which? use same scoring for all their reviews - I just see it as a score/mark out of 100.
  13. 350Z 6th in list... (equal 4th) Boxster (07-2012) - 83% SLK (04-2011) - 82% 911 (98-2005) 79% 3 series coupe (00-2006) 78% CLK (02-2009) 78% 350Z (03-2010) 78% followed by Z4 - 77% BMW 6 series - 77% (hopefully not re-post)
  14. DC True Dual Exhaust. Not original ends... a long story... I personally would prefer a little more subtle. I always get +ve comments on how she sounds though...
  15. R1 and BSA Super Rocket separated by:- 46 years, 113 bhp & 20kg (BSA heavier) But both great fun in their own way - and compliment the Zed nicely
  16. the VX is a fantastic car... and if it had been my old one I may have been interested... lots of fond memories... there's several ex-VX220 owners on here.. the 350Z seems to be a next step for something sporty but with a bit more practicability..... and like VX owners aren't badge snobs... but bought what we consider to be the best car for us... ie a VX over a Lotus and a Nissan over a porker

    Caterham 7

    back on the road....

    Caterham 7

I raced this Caterham for 3 seasons. K-Series, 150bhp (which was the limit for Mega class in Caterham Graduate series). I then sold it through the tech team that supported the race teams. They sold it to a chap (after re-fitting lights etc) who wanted a fully sorted car for track days, and with the race extras, eg. proper seat, fia roll cage, full harness, straight cut box, plumbed fire extinguisher etc etc... many of the Mega class are built on a road car, with non-essentials removed - so it's easy to put back on the road. Have a look at what McMillan Motor Sport have for sale, and the Graduates Series web site... ex-race cars are cheaper than road cars, as they will have a few scratches, but buy the right one and you will have a very reliable track day car... mine has been giving very good service to the current owner.
  19. and the rear spat things aren't symmetrical...
  20. Ooops - just making sure I don't confuse you, and I've got this right. I bought entire system (used) from member on here.... I didn't fit... the system bolted to the manifold down-pipes, so unless the cats are between manifold and this joint - I guess without cats ? I used to know all this stuff, but now I just buy and have fitted.... Someone intelligent will know/correct me, and or RTbiscuit as he kndly picked the exhaust up for me and will probably recall exactly what i have got
