  1. yes Brillomaster - on std cats (sorry for delay in response....)
  2. Anybody interested in sharing these, and therefore lessen cost ? I can only make Race day, so can't justify purchase of 3 day tickets... Just an idea... someone else could use first two days, and then if we can sort logistics of ticket handover ? I'd be travelling early from North Essex... so I could go down A12, M25, M1 or A14, A428 route.
  3. I have a true dual DC exhaust - sounds great - so I'm told. Not obtrusive at all inside car.
  4. Taping in to the vast knowledge of the Zed [helpful ] owners Any eating recommendations please for above ? Pub, cafe, restaurant.... for some happy campers ? thanks in advance....
  5. I've got my 18" hard tail in to the car. Both wheels in the boot, and then the frame wrapped in towels in the passenger seat/foot well.
  6. Twobears - I've had exactly the same problem... my 2p.. Don't even bother with dealer.. if they are just going to change the fluid then the problem will return again... and you don't want it in the back of your mind... ie. when you have been sitting in traffic for sometime and then the clutch pedal drops Bite the bullet, and find a recommended Zed agent/specialist in your area... fit an armoured pipe to slave cylinder and put in high temp fluid.... I got my pipe from CS. I'd recommend someone that is used to the Zed as it's a pain to bleed the slave cylinder... a lot of fiddling around....
  7. I need a small scratch corrected on edge of front bumper... These guys have come highly recommended... (very good quality work by petrol heads)... anyone been there ? http://www.weloveyourcars.com They look to provide exactly the service I require... I will book in soon...
  8. Stew - yes there were a few Scots there on various bikes - but with circa 90 bikers there I didn't meet/know most of them. Bronzee - yes I assume this is the cct control room.. or part of.
  9. Just spent a long weekend there (Thurs to Sunday - on bike).... a very nice circuit - well worth the effort/expense getting there - highly recommended if you were considering (we did have one wet day though - but it's rare).
  10. As always - a great and friendly service today from the Abbey Motorsport team
  11. 1. Mine did this after a journey >40 mins. It was due to fluid getting hot. Put a HL line (armoured) replacing rubber pipe and no problems since... got mine from CS on here a while back.
  12. No1. GM Coupe in Tesco's car park - surprised it was closed ? me as well. Running some 'big' wheels/rubber. No2. Black Coupe in Robin Hood pub car park. Both looking good... I was with friends/visiting friends so not in Zed.
  13. I have a 'rumbly' intermittent noise from front of car. Appears to come from the front near side. It rumbles when the front nearside wheel goes over a bump. It sounds like a plastic panel flexing/knocking or similar Car has been recently serviced, and MOT'd - all without any issue. When it was on ramp having MOT I asked tester to have a look - he couldn't find anything obvious. Suggested I took of the plastic panel under engine - which I did - I drove round the block with it of - and seemed to be ok. Put panel back on... seemed better for a little while, but now returned more often than not - & driving me nuts (I can't abide rattles or squeaks - and had a very quite car before hand). It seemed to appear after an emergency stop (some one pulling out in front of me) - has anyone had a similar problem and know the culprit/cause ?? Any suggestions much appreciated.....
  14. apologies Gents - many thanks for the interest shown. Decided I just can't part with my Zed at this time (I'll upgrade wife's car for family requirements) my sub-conscious must have been telling me this by not placing a price in advert initially...
  15. Thanks for interest to all, and patience whilst I committed to sell or not - but I withdraw car for sale. I will upgrade wife's car for family transport required. Just too hard to part with Zed - apologies....
  16. hard call... for me the Mclaren F1 or the blower Bentley....
  17. nice video (and a soft spot for the VX220s I'll be there in April - but on my bike....
  18. A bit more info... Car has always been garaged when not in use, and MOT expires March 2013.
  19. & now for some pictures.... The original plate was: FL05UMZ I've read with interest MPG posts. I don't drive like a Granny or a boy racer. My commute to office when not working from home is 60 miles return. I live in rural area, and journey is mix of 30 limits, country roads at national speed limit and about 6 miles of dual carriage way. On the computer output my MPG is normally 29 mpg and average speed is 36mph. So for me a very economical GT car.
  20. My car for last four years, and I've enjoyed every mile behind the wheel. Only selling as I ideally need a vehicle with more seats due to transport of Grandchildren and Parents (getting older). So I'm spending as much time using my wife's Multipla or driving my Dad's car for him. So here is the spec. Full GT with usual refinements - if you're serious, you've done your research and know what these are. Registered April 2005. circa 51600 miles (will increase as in use). Full service history with all receipts. All services by Nissan except last years P2 - this was performed by Abbey, as I had the mods shown in my signature (except dual exhaust and Nismo pedal) completed at the same time plus full four wheel alignment. All mods are to enhance driving please and/or to improve performance (there's also a braided clutch line to the slave cylinder as I had the 'squashy' clutch after an hour or so driving when purchased - fluid gets hot. I've had no problems with this since braided hose and high temp fluid). Standard in appearance bar carbon wrap beneath grill. I do have a stubby aerial but never fitted - I read it may cause signal loss on occasions ? so didn't bother. Zero faults... everything works exactly as it should. In fact I haven't had any faults (except replacement wheel bearing) - car has been 100% reliable. This is due to the good quality/build of these cars - and I look after it !! (I can't help being anal). The rear nearside wheel bearing replaced, as advised by Nissan at last service (two weeks ago). Interesting plate may be included. I owned this previously so put on Zed. I think it looks nice plus there is a bit of meaning, ie. code name of 350 by Nissan during development was 'S30' and with the remap etc the car isn't far from having 300bhp I can't think what else to say except the price ! I need to do my own research on this, and will sell at a fair market value for both me and the purchaser. I haven't advertised elsewhere at this time, and I'm in no rush... if a fair price isn't negotiated I will keep her and probably upgrade my wife's car for family transport. Pictures below. Latest with carbon wrap on front - this is fairly recent (few weeks). (not sure if I know how to put multiple pictures in one post - so you may have to scroll down). Any questions - just ask....
  21. FUG - as per email. I will now build a formal advert and add some more pictures.... Go to for sale section in a few minutes...
