hello! Looking to possibly mount my Akebono brake kit to the Z while the snow is thick outside! Anyone has the brackets required to mount the fronts for sale? A.

Only got a clamp down on the cleaning not the self leveling, guess its due to it imported as moving goods ,all other cars need it. I picked up a HELLA kit and will stick it on during the week

If you dont know what pads you have bring a spare set, even if it looks like its lots left on them its painful when they have got down to the metal and you still have half a day left ENJOY IT!

My kit has done well over 30k boosted and not a single problem. Most other kits you tend to replace the parts or uprate them. The only one Ive heard having any good to say about that kit. Well done

I take it you only plan on using this car when its nice weather?

mine is full boost as soon as possible (2500 rpm) lets off boost at the higher rev range due to the springs in the actuator not able to hold the boost.

The manual is probably from a US/JDM Z thus not showing it, trying to find one myself so if you get one let me know and I will do the same!

My tubo setup has lag to ... not that I notice but it is there...

What pads are you using in the Z? If some OEM type ones bring a spare set... also flush the coolant and get some Motul 660 in there, what rubber is on the wheels? What spacers are on it? Keep a good eye on the water temps... burp the system before you go out using a funnel, great way of getting out trapped air. if the water temp goes up to half way its pretty hot in there and Id recommend cruising a bit to get it down, the OEM gauge is very bad to keep track on the temperature though so best play it safe.

Did you try them straight onto the battery?

haha love the summary I packed my things and moved from Ireland to Sweden in May, still trying to get the Z registered in Sweden, the rules are a good bit harder then Ireland! (or what its in the UK...) Last hurdle is to get some washer system installed for the headlamps! Blew a oil feed line to my oil cooler and ended up finding the most expensive tuning place in Sweden to fix it, went under the car at the "MOT" and found that my new lines are to exposed and need to increase the riding height Considering driving it over winter

I think I'm set on a 313bhp model. anything from 2007 onwards with no more than 60k. get a FI one straight from the word go!
